About the site
Set on a family-run working farm in Worcestershire, get a taste of countryside life and unwind amongst nature at this peaceful site. With scenic views from your pitch and an onsite fly fishing pool, this site attracts fly fishing anglers, open water swimmers and paddleboarders, as well as keen walkers with plenty of countryside trails all around. Please note that open water swimming is only available to NOWCA members! The site has five grass pitches for tents only, perfect for escaping the everyday and relaxing amongst nature. Views looking out to Clee Hill, Shropshire, depending on where in the field you decide to pitch. Peaceful and relaxing location. The site also offers five CL hardstanding pitches with 10 amp electric hook ups that are available for members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club only. On site fly fishing for keen anglers, tickets can be bought from reception prior. Fly fishing instruction available by a third party instructor. There's always something to see and do, whether it be lambing in the spring, making hay in the summer. Nearby, explore the towns of Tenbury Wells, Ludlow, Leominster and Bromyard. Tenbury Wells is just a five minute drive from the campsite with a range of shops and pubs. Or, Ludlow, Leominster and Bromyard are within a 20 minute drive. Explore one of the many National Trust sites nearby or bring your bike and head out on the country lanes! Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Campfires are not permitted, BBQs are allowed but in extreme weather, the site may ban them. Please note, that this is a quiet campsite and therefore is not suitable for groups!
The camping pitches are open for weekends in May, Thursday- Sunday in June, weekends in July and August, from 21st- 31st August and the first weekend of September.

Yes, you are welcome to bring along an awning but pup tents and gazebos are not permitted.
Facilities
Can I fish in the lake at Orchard Holiday Park and Fishery?
Yes, the lake is suitable for fishing, allowing up to 2-3 anglers at a time. Anglers must book prior to arrival and report to reception. All anglers must hold a valid EA Rod Licence. Only one rod is allowed per ticket with no rod sharing allowed. All brown trout must be returned. Hooks can be a maximum size of 10 with no longshank hooks allowed. A minimum of a 10lb leader is to be used. No bite indicators/bungs and no large lures, blobs or booby flies. Fishers must land with a net wherever possible keep fish in the water and minimise handling, and there is to be no standing up with the fish. Once unhooked, please allow the fish plenty of time to recover (held in a net, sat upright in water) before releasing. Injured or hurt fish must be killed and paid for. No fish preparation, nylon, or litter is to be left on site.
