Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Grass Super PitchesSep 2025

I stayed here for 7 nights, was originally planning just 6, but due to the bad weather I wanted to arrive a week early to be setup before the heavy wind and rain hit. The owners could not be more accommodating, helpful or friendly. I'll admit, at first I was a bit dubious about staying at a site with pay as you go electrics, but this really wasn't a problem and didn't cost quite as much as I was expecting. My brother and I have a lot of electronic items, and being rained in quite a lot, we had a tv, 2 computers, central heating on, as well as starlink and it didn't even cost us £5 a day (given the low price of the pitch I was very happy with this). This was easy enough to keep track via a website, and you get a text when you run low on funds. There is no shower on site, which isn't a problem if you have one in your van/camper, but the toilets were always very clean. Having water and drainage included in the pitch really doesn't make it a problem using your showing in your caravan. Location wise, it's easy to get to Derby, Sheffield, or the peak district. We attempted Bakewell but the whole place was rammed even on a Friday so just drove through. This was my first trip as a whole week and I really enjoyed it. The only regret I had was not packing my telescope, the view of the night sky was amazing on clear nights!

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Grass Super PitchesAug 2025

Quiet campsite, rural setting in lovely area, owners are just getting started. All amenities are not yet in place. Toilet block, running water taps and electricity hook ups are all in place, ideal for campervans, motorhomes and caravans who have their own shower and washing up facilities. Owners very friendly and helpful and we wish them good luck with their ongoing project.
