About the site


A peaceful campsite, ideal for families and couples looking to explore the Isle of Wight. Set in the countryside, enjoy scenic walking routes nearby or head to the coast with the sandy shores of Sandown and Shanklin Beach just 20 minutes away. Horse lovers can also take a one minute walk to the Island Riding Centre. Choose from grass pitches measuring 7.5m x 7.5m with 16 amp electric, suitable for caravans, roof tents, campervans, and motorhomes. Or opt for a hardstanding pitch measuring 10m x 10m, also with 16 amp electric, ideal for the same setup. For a little added comfort, there's an ensuite glamping pod with a double bed, kitchenette, and a living room. Please note, the site does not offer any toilet or shower facilities. You're just a five minute drive from Newport town centre, where you'll find shops, pubs, and coffee spots. For travel to the mainland, it's a ten minute drive to Fishbourne for the Wightlink ferry to Portsmouth, or ten minutes to East Cowes for the ferry to Southampton. Guests can get ferry discounts of 15% from the site. Dogs are welcome! Sorry, campfires and BBQs are prohibited.

Guests are able to check-in from noon until 8pm, if you are going to be delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 10:30am on your last day.

Dogs are most certainly welcome! With one pooch permitted per pitch for an additional fee. Please ensure that dogs are kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

Awnings, gazebos and pup tents are permitted free of charge, just please ensure that you select this option when booking. Pup tents must fit within your pitch.

Robin Hill is just five minutes from the site, offering family rides, a tractor train, nature trails, slides, seasonal events, and a chance to spot birds of prey.

Carisbrooke Castle is ten minutes away, a medieval fortress with a museum and the historic site where Charles I was imprisoned. From Fishbourne, also ten minutes away, hop on a ferry to Portsmouth and explore The D-Day Story, Clarence Pier, and Blue Reef Aquarium Portsmouth.

Osborne is a must-see, with its Italian-style mansion, formal gardens, forestry, and private beach, just 15 minutes from the site.

Model Village Godshill is 20 minutes away, along with Dinosaur Isle, and three sandy beaches, Ryde Beach, Sandown Beach, and Shanklin Beach. Ventnor Beach is a 30 minute drive, great for a coastal day further away.
