Adult-only and pet-friendly, this small caravan and camping site is set in acres of pasture and orchard. Wake up to breathtaking views over the rolling hills - make sure to keep an eye out for the incredible wildlife too! The site is close to Saxon Shore Way and the Medway Estuary.

About the site

This small and friendly adults-only site is set in five acres of unspoiled natural beauty, with an abundance of wildlife. Look out for the woodpeckers, owls, buzzards, and so much more! There are five large and well-drained pitches on a gentle slope, all with electric. The site welcomes caravans, campervans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents. Head to the Medway Estuary nature reserve or the stunning Saxon Shore Walkway just a 10-minute leisurely walk from the site with great salt marshes, great for bird watchers and walkers alike. In the evenings, take a stroll around the pub for a meal and head back to relax in the lovely orchard. As the site is set among Kentish apple trees, guests are encouraged to pick apples when in season. There are plenty to go around for everyone! There is also the option to have afternoon tea or a delicious breakfast box delivered right to your pitch. Non-members welcome. Dog-friendly.

The new amenities block contains two five-star, heated shower rooms and three toilets. There is also a washing up room and a wastewater disposal point.

Within one mile, you can find a CO-OP, newsagents, chip shop and a few pubs such as The Three Turns.

Things to do on site and in the Sittingbourne area

Although while you're camping, it may feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, there is plenty to do nearby. This site is just a short stroll from the local cricket club, village pubs, chip shop, and CO-OP to cover all your needs.

Also in that area is the Lower Halstow Yacht club and the Edith May sailing barge, which serves afternoon tea. A short drive away is Chatham Historic Dockyard, Bluewater Shopping Centre, The Historic Royal Engineers Museum, Canterbury with its towering cathedral and the harbour town of Whitstable. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
