About the site
Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, this friendly site sits close to the Wales/England border. It's a great base for exploring, with the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog), Hay-on-Wye, and Builth Wells all within a 20 minute drive. There are six cosy glamping pods, each sleeping up to four people. Inside, you'll find a double bed and a sofa bed, with bedding provided, making them ideal for couples, friends, and families. Each pod comes with its own kitchen, including a hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, toastie maker, sink, and all of the essential cutlery, pots, pans and crockery. There is a selection of complimentary Welsh Brew Tea, coffee and sugar sachets, and hot chocolate available. Basic cooking essentials, including oil, salt, and pepper, are provided. You'll also have a dining area for eating indoors. Extra touches include heating, a fan, free WiFi, and a TV. Every pod has its own ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet, heated towel rail, and towels included, but please bring additional towels for lake and hot tub use. Outdoors, you will find a seating area and a fire pit/BBQ for cooking or keeping warm in the evenings. Three pods also have their very own wood-fired hot tub, whilst the other three don't, so you can choose whichever suits you best. The site also has a lake, where guests are welcome to go wild swimming or borrow a kayak and lifejacket for a paddle. A communal barn is open for all, with games, seating, and even a pizza oven for social evenings. All pods are dog friendly, with up to two dogs welcome in each, and plenty of countryside walks right on your doorstep.

You can check-in at Beacons Bluff Escape from 3pm until 10pm. Please let the site know if you are going to arrive late. Departure is before 10:30am on weekdays and 11am on the weekend.
What is the check-in/check out process at Beacons Bluff Escapes?
Guests will receive an email from Beacons Bluff Escapes on the day of arrival with directions from the main road, the location, and the pod name. Your name will be on the welcome board at the back of the pod where you can park. If you do not use an email, please call the site in advance so they can give you this information. Check-in is contact-free, and you will find your key in the door of your pod. When checking out, please leave the pod in a fair and good condition. Recycling and rubbish must be sorted into the appropriate bins outside each pod. Food recycling can be left with the lid on and will be collected as soon as possible. The fridge must be cleared, washing up done, and if you have any outstanding balances for extras, these must be settled before leaving. Card payments are accepted. Please leave the key in the door of the pod before your departure.
Is Beacons Bluff Escape dog-friendly?
Yes, up to two dogs are welcome in each pet friendly pod at Beacons Bluff Escape. The site also asks that dogs not be left alone. If you wish to bring another pet that isn't a dog, please ask the site before arriving.

No more than two visitors are permitted at any time, and they are not to use the facilities, such as the lake or hot tubs, unless they pay the additional fee. If they wish to stay and there is room to accommodate in your pod, a person fee of £35 per person per night will be charged.
