Brynhyfryd Farm Campsite is located in the countryside, yet is just minutes away from several great towns and lovely beaches - ideally placed for exploring the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, Cardiff and Swansea.
Brynhyfryd is a small, farm-style campsite. Set in countryside just outside the historic market town of Bridgend, excellent beaches are less than 10 miles away. The site is perfect for campers seeking a relaxing break in quiet surroundings. Toilet and shower facilities are on-site. There is also a small kitchen area with a washing machine, sink and hot water. There are water outlets dotted around the campsite and a designated place to empty your chemical toilet. The site welcomes any well-behaved furry friends.
The site is open from Easter until the end of October.

Wiggleys Fun Farm is right next to the site and popular with kids of all ages. The indoor adventure play area is a good wet weather option, complete with coffee shop for mum and dad!
Coarse fishing at Will's Ponds is available within a quarter mile. There are three public swimming pools within 5 miles of the site too, at Ynysawdre, Pyle Leisure Centre and Bridgend Leisure Centre.
Go Ape at Margam Park is approximately 5 miles away, while Afan Argoed Country Park has mountain biking trails. Route 4 of the National Cycle Network if just a few hundred yards away.
Porthcawl and Ogmore-by-Sea beaches are both 9 miles away (with dog friendly beaches all year round), and sea fishing can be enjoyed at both locations. Porthcawl has a harbour for sailing fans too.
A little further down the coast you will find the long, sweeping stretch of beach that is Aberafon.
There are two nature reserves in the area. The Parc Slip Reserve is under a mile away and the Kenfig Nature Reserve is approximately 5 miles.
Cardiff is 25 miles away, and has two stunning castles. Cardiff Castle is on one of Cardiff 's main shopping streets, Queen Street, while Castell Coch (Red Castle) is just outside the city. (Coity Castle and Ogmore by Sea Castle are also nearby.) Mermaid Quay has an abundance of excellent restaurants.
Swansea is 20 miles away, with its lovely marina and the glorious beaches that form Swansea Bay - from Mumbles to the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
