About the site

Located within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this family friendly park is surrounded by beautiful countryside, charming villages and market towns. Tavistock is just ten minutes away, while Dartmoor National Park can be reached in 15 minutes. Days can be spent unwinding in the indoor heated pool and spa, with the chance to try water walking! There is plenty onsite to keep all ages entertained, including archery, a games room, a Petanque court, electric bike hire and more. Younger guests will also love the play area. A range of spacious pitches welcome tents, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes. Guests can choose between grass and all-weather hardstanding pitches (16 or 10 amp hook up), whether you prefer a quieter spot or somewhere closer to the facilities. Each pitch accommodates up to six guests and includes access to a communal camp kitchen. For those wanting to travel a little lighter, the cosy camping pods sleep two guests and include lighting, electric, heating, chairs and a small table. Please bring all camping equipment, including beds and bedding. The super camping pods sleep up to four and include heating, lighting, electric, a small TV and a table and chairs that convert into a double bed. Two optional camp beds are also available. Up to two four-legged friends are welcome on the pitches, though please note pets are not permitted in the pods. There is a dog exercise area for them to explore off-lead, and the doggie spa can wash those muddy paws with organic shampoo, warm water and a hairdryer, all free of charge! In the evenings, guests are welcome to enjoy a BBQ, although campfires are not permitted.

Woodovis Park is open from 13/03 to 30/10. Pitches from £35/night for 2 people.

Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Top Field)Aug 2025

Lovely campsite with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Quiet overnight, so you get some sleep. The bake to order bread/pastries and the pizza van were nice additions. There is no cash point at the site, so if you plan to use the games room or the washing machine/tumble dryers you will need a few £1 coins.

A note from the site themselves...

It's easy for us to reel off green cliches, but here at Woodovis, we try to make it a natural part of the way the business is run. The beauty of the park and surrounding areas is one of the main reasons guests visit.

To allow future generations to also enjoy our park, we are a fully self-sufficient park with green energy being used to supply electricity to Woodovis with its very own Solar Array Panel System. We hope to welcome you soon, Anthony
