About the site

Nestled in the heart of Regency Cheltenham, the site is set in a vibrant and well-connected location, surrounded by mature hedges, shrubs and an abundance of wildlife. Beautifully landscaped and exclusively for adults, the park offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with established trees throughout creating a pleasant rural feel. Thanks to its central position, the site benefits from excellent transport links, with frequent bus services stopping directly at the entrance, making it easy to explore Cheltenham, Gloucester and beyond without moving your vehicle. As with any vibrant and accessible location, there may be some background noise at times from surrounding roads, something many guests find a fair trade for the convenience and ease of getting around. Touring guests can choose from hard-standing pitches with 10 amp electric hook-up or spacious, fully serviced pitches. All pitches are separated by hornbeam hedging, offering a good level of privacy, with some hedges more mature than others. For those seeking a little extra comfort, the three cosy camping pods - Buttercup, Daisy and Bluebell - provide a snug and welcoming stay. Each pod sleeps two adults with either a double bed or twin beds (please note bedding is not provided) and is equipped with electricity, lighting and heating. Inside you'll find a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and kettle, while French doors open onto your own private decking area. Cycling is a real highlight here, with a direct off-road path leading all the way into Cheltenham in around 10 minutes. Sustrans Cycle Route 41 is also just moments away, guiding you along quieter roads towards Gloucester. Cheltenham town centre is just ten minutes away, offering a rich mix of historic charm, culture and green spaces. The surrounding Cotswolds are equally easy to explore, with picturesque villages such as Winchcombe (25 minutes), Bourton-on-the-Water (35 minutes) and Stow-on-the-Wold (40 minutes) all within easy reach. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome, with a maximum of two per pitch. The park has a fully enclosed dog exercise field where your four-legged friends can enjoy a good run, along with plenty of lovely walks directly from the park and further afield in the surrounding countryside. Rallies are also welcome.

Briarfields Motel and Touring Caravan Park is open all year round. Pitches from £33/night for 2 people.

A note from the site themselves...

Scott and I are proper outdoorsy at heart, and when we're not working, you'll usually find us out walking the dogs with our children somewhere in the Cotswolds. We feel incredibly lucky to live here, surrounded by rolling hills, fresh air and beautiful countryside, and it's something we never take for granted.

That love for the outdoors is a big part of how we look after Briarfields. We really care about doing things in a way that's kind to nature, whether that's encouraging wildlife to thrive around the park or making thoughtful choices about how we maintain it. We want Briarfields to feel like a place where both people and wildlife feel at home.

We've also switched all of our maintenance equipment to electric, which not only helps reduce our environmental impact but keeps the park quieter and more pleasant too, no noisy engines, just birdsong and fresh air. It's a small change that makes a big difference, and one we're really proud of.
