A lovely site excellent to access via M5

Very good site well pleased

Good break

Lovely quiet site, goods for watching small planes come into land. Regular buses into Gloucester and Cheltenham, picking up outside campsite, we were lucky as could use OAPs bus pass. Could have stayed for longer!

Nice site

Nice site, clean and tidy. Sorry but too noisy from roads, cars and motorcycles 24/7.

Adult only peace in the middle of Cheltenham

This was our second stay in in a fortnight. While the pitches aren't overly spacious - but neither are they restrictive - the site is beautifully maintained. There is just the one toilets and showers block for the whole site, but this doesn't appear to be a problem, and the site was almost at full capacity on our second stay. It would be good to have somewhere to eat on site, as the nearest eatery left much to be desired ,especially for those of us with a dog. Although we didn't use it, there are bus stops immediately outside the site entrance, with routes to many of the attractions in the area. We were initially aware of the small planes using the small local airfield, which appears to be restricted to main daytime only.

Peaceful Holiday in Cheltenham

My sisters and I visited Briarfields Caravan Site seeking a peaceful holiday on a site which we could use as a base to visit the Cotswolds. We enjoy sightseeing & walking. We were very happy with our choice of caravan site. When we arrived, the man in reception was very friendly & welcoming as well as very efficient (I guess the vehicle number plate recognition system helps to indicate who has arrived). The site is well laid out & the pitches are well maintained. The toilet & shower facilities are very good and are cleaned regularly. We found the showers to be very good with plenty of hot water & a good flowrate. The site was very peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all of the team that run the site.

Great find

Booked a 4 night stay to attend a rugby match. Chosen for proximity to Gloucester and was not disappointed. Easy to get to from M5. Supermarket with reasonably priced diesel located within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Great size pitch, had booked fully serviced and was very pleased. Did not use facilities but people I spoke to said how good they were. Good bus service outside gates to Cheltenham and Gloucester. Will certainly use again.

Pure adult only bliss!

The site offered a very relaxing atmosphere; it was immaculately clean with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. There was some noise from roads close by, plus planes going over from a private airfield, but after a while, these didn't register! We're actually returning on our homeward journey next week!

Clean, tidy site

Clean, tidy site. Friendly staff. Would have been all five stars, but for a little road noise and airplane noise, but I knew location was near dual carriageway and airfield. Just wanted people to know. I enjoy watching the planes anyway. This my 2nd stay and I will stay again. Great location for travel.

Great site, can't fault it in any way

Convenient location

Reception staff was friendly. Facilities clean. Always hot water. Slight noise from the roads on both sides of the campsite (A40 and B4063). Even so, we slept well. Convenient location for Cheltenham city centre. Bus no. 94 runs into town. However, on the way back, we jumped onto a bus which said 94 at the back but was a 94X which we did not realise until we got to the Arle Court roundabout, saw the Leonardo Hotel but instead of turning off at the exit to the campsite, it took the earlier exit towards the A40 to Gloucester and did not stop until we reached the outskirts of Gloucester. The bus driver than charged us again even though we explained we were visitors to the area and had a mistake. Please point this out in the leaflet you hand out upon arrival.

Well presented site

A very well presented site with a single but clean and modern shower and toilet block, which was never too busy. Easy access with local amenities a short walk away. Very helpful staff and short travel times to many nearby tourist attractions. The site is near a main road which can result in a bit of noise, but it's not particularly noticeable, hence only 4 stars but is 5 stars otherwise.

Lovely but very noisy

Lovely site, great service upon arrival. The facilities were very clean but you are listening to planes every few minutes or the M5 and busy A road traffic, so don't bank on a peaceful break when staying here!

Lovely motorhome site

Lovely campsite, amenities great, lovely and clean and plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bus stop right outside site. Pubs within walking distance.

Well maintained and clean

Easy to find, well located with bus stops right outside campsite to Cheltenham and Gloucester. Cheltenham within cycling distance (about 20 mins). A few shops and a Harvester Restaurant within walking distance. Not far off M5 turning, so lots of places to visit nearby with ease. Well kept site, pleasant staff, clean and toilets/showers are immaculate. Site itself was very pleasant, just be aware with Gloucestershire airport close by and main roads around the site, it can be fairly noisy. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

A very well kept and maintained site

A very well kept and maintained site that's great for the visiting local sights. The site has excellent, modern and well-kept facilities, the wardens were also super helpful. It is easy to get to from the motorway, no winding down country lanes to get there. The buses to Cheltenham and Gloucester go directly past the site. Despite being adjacent to a main road the site was peaceful at night. I visited in February and the site was mostly full. The pitches are not huge and while that is fine in winter when people largely remain in their vans, it may feel busy in summer when people are sitting outside.

Great little site. We loved our stay

Great site and a perfect pitch. The facilities were gleaming and they had thought of everything, lots of hooks and hairdryers. The location is ideal to jump on a bus to Cheltenham and Gloucester. As novice Motorhomers, we loved it.

Excellent

The site was exceptionally clean and the facilities were excellent. Friendly and helpful receptionist who provided maps and information of the local area and its amenities, which was really useful.

Lovely site with friendly staff

My stay

Had a lovely couple of days at the site. Excellent location, the bus stop is just outside the site and frequent into Gloucester and Cheltenham. Site was very tidy, the shower block and facilities were very clean and spacious. We will definitely be back.

Exceptional relaxing break

From the minute we arrived we were met with a welcoming and informative host, who made us feel so welcome. The campsite itself was very well laid out with plenty of space for our motorhome. The facilities were over and above with catering for all needs, easy access and spotlessly clean. We shall certainly be returning in the near future for another peaceful and relaxing break. Relaxed and clean
