Highfield Holidays is a peaceful and dog-friendly site set on a seven acre croft with stunning views of the surrounding Argyll countryside. Located just a five minute walk from the sandy beach of Tralee Bay and 20 minutes from Oban, 'Gateway to the Isles' you have the best of both. Offering spacious grass and hardstanding touring pitches, luxury glamping pods and safari tents there is an option for all. Modern facilities and a communal BBQ too!

The site is functional and meets requirements. I do not mean this in a negative way. The toilets and showers beautifully clean and modern. Nice size pitch with electric and water. Great location for Oban. Reception was mostly closed during our visit but check in was well organised with map and instructions left. Can see why warden is kept busy with taking care of the grounds and holiday lets. Would thoroughly recommend this site for couples or those with older children. Didn't see playpark or anything to entertain younger ones and no shop on site if that is important to you. Short walk to a pebbly beach. Perfect stay for us. Dai iawn, diolch.

Great site, 5 minute walk to the beach, which is lovely. Good for swimming and an evening walk. Lovely showers. The site was quiet in the evening and away from the road, so peaceful. It was handy being able to use the facilities on their other site. A good location for visiting places in the area. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Our stay at the site was brilliant all-round, we stayed for a birthday and our arrival and check in was super easy, we headed over to the pod to find a freshly made bed, hot tub already warmed up and everything nice and clean. Over our stay everything was explained super clearly and we didn't need to clarify anything with staff at all! I had a super romantic time with my partner and we loved everything about the site including location!

The site is truly immaculate and only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. They have tremendous shower/toilet/wash hand basin/wet rooms.

The location was nice. Lots of space, access to the beach. Very quiet and you can enjoy a good sleep - good organized welcome with the letter box and your spot. People around all very nice. Things which might be optimized would be that the shower and toilets are not separated and everything is quite wet after taking a shower. There was only one space for dish washing - it was ok since it was not too busy. We enjoyed our stay.

Well situated site within walking distance of Tralee Bay. Mix of chalets, pitches and camping space. Well kept grounds. Toilet & showers very tidy and clean. Lots of hot water for washing and washing up. Friendly staff. Water and Electricity hook ups in a modern stack. Permanent stoned pitches for motorhomes and camper vans. Convenient for Oban, the Highlands and Islands. Lots of facilities locally- fish & chip shop, general store, cafe and fuel station (doesn't open before 9am on weekdays). Quiet at night when we were there.

We stayed there for one night. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The site is very clean and spacious between each parking place. Water available directly with electric plug. The place is very quiet. A beach is close to the campsite. Definitely a place to stay for a good rest.
