Facilities include a toilet block offering 12 toilet cubicles with sinks and a hot shower block with 8 shower cubicles. Showers and toilets are allocated to groups so that these are not shared with others onsite. There is fresh running water and a communal washing up area.
You can get a supermarket delivery to the site, and some takeaway outlets will deliver too. If you'd prefer not to cook, the site can recommend a caterer to come to you. Alternatively, the nearest shop is Spar, five minutes away, and The Hostelrie at Goodrich is a 30 minute walk from the site.
This pristine patch of countryside is absolutely perfect for those wanting a wild camping experience.
This trip was almost perfect, aside from a large DoE group coming to the campsite disturbing the silence and ransacking and messing up the personal toilets. Aside from this inconvenience, the site is amazing! I will be looking to go again soon!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025
We loved the back to nature style of the campsite. There's been an effort to give everyone space. The ancient oaks and field of buttercups and long grass make it a beautiful spot.
Can't give it a high score for facilities, but that's just due to the site being back to basics style. Toilets and showers available, but that's about it. Recommend this site for people who want to get away and switch off.
Lovely campsite, well spread out

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024
The campsite was lovely. Being at the end of the season, we found ourselves with only a handful of other campers.
The pitches are well spread out and not crowded. The shower wash and toilet facilities were better than expected. There is also an option to rent a charging locker for phones and battery banks. The price per bag of wood is reasonable. Definitely would camp here again.
There is a strong current in the river so no swimming, but kayaking and paddle boarding is a must in the summers. You can go all the way to Ross on Wye, hop off and at a pub at the bottom of the town. Great walks nearby. I have nothing but positive feedback.
