About the site
The site is right on the river and only a ten minute walk from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. Ideal for a fun-filled camping trip, guests can head out on the water on canoes and paddle boards, or simply unwind on the bank with a picnic or a book. The campsite area is located on the fields behind the rowing club buildings, with 12 acres of space available. Tents, campervans, and motorhomes are all welcome, with 12m x 10m non electric grass pitches for everyone and a minimum of 6m between units. There is a separate fenced area for school groups and youth organisations such as Scouts and D of E. The club hosts a whole host of fun events for guests to get involved in, from the Ross on Wye 'Beerfest' over the early May BH weekend to the Dragon Boat and Rowing Regatta at the end of August Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch. Please note, open fires are not allowed and BBQs need to be off the ground to avoid damaging the grass. However, the site's clubhouse is open most Friday evenings and some Saturdays with a licensed bar and regular BBQ nights!

What time is check-in and check out at Ross Rowing Club and Campsite?
There is no formal check-in process however, the site asks you to arrive between 2pm and 6pm. Departure is due before 12pm on your final day. If you'd like to park in the car park past 12pm, you can do so for a fee.

Yes, if you're hoping to bring your pups along then up to two dogs are permitted per pitch, just make sure they are kept on their lead and not left unattended. Please note, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
