About the site

This small site offers camping across two well kept fields, ideally suited to couples and relaxed families. Pitches are for tents and small campervans, all set on grass and without electric. Camping is thoughtfully divided into a family field with space for kids to play and pitches sized at 9m x 6m including a car. For adults without children, there is an adult only field with pitches of various sizes. BBQs welcome.

Site facilities include a block offering free hot showers and toilets, alongside a well equipped kitchen for guests with toasters, microwaves, fridges and freezers. The kitchen offers hot water for washing up. Coin operated laundry facilities are also available.

A holiday park close by allows visitors to access their swimming and entertainment activities for a modest fee and there are shops within 3 miles of site. The Foundry Arms pub is within less than a mile and there is a tasty cafe along the cliffs at Overstrand.

Dogs must be kept on some sort of lead at all times.

Things to do on site and in the Cromer area

Tranquil beaches and great walks can be found within a mile or you can travel only three miles to sample good restaurants and catch a few crabs off the edge of the pier.

The North Norfolk Railway's steam train at Sheringham is a big hit with families, taking you off on a trip to the Georgian town of Holt.

You can't beat the charm and peace of a trip along the Broads, so why not hire a boat and start wending off on an adventure.

In this area, you won't want to miss the delicious Crab and Lobster Festival which takes place in May and the buzz of Cromer Carnival in the summer.
