The lovely sand of Pevensey appears at low tide just outside the site in Norman's Bay, where even the beach belongs to the Club. The Pevensey Levels, known for nature conservation and agriculture, is located nearby as well as the beautiful South Downs which is perfect for nature lovers.
You can walk the South Downs Way, which ends at the Seven Sisters Country Park. It includes a series of vertical chalk headlands, and the area is home to attractions both natural and man-made. Pevensey Castle is one of Britain's oldest and most important strongholds, with fortifications dating back to Roman times. Non-members welcome.
