Inspite of the heavy winds and rain we had a fabulous stay at this beautiful peaceful campsite

Jo and Marc are excellent hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The site is in a beautiful remote location and is a peaceful place for a traditional camp. The toilets were lovely and clean and so were the showers. No light pollution so lovely dark skies with lots of stars to see. Campfires allowed in the provided fire pits, buy logs and kindling from Jo. Don’t miss out on the amazing homemade pizzas at the weekend they are gorgeous, so is the homemade Rocky Road! Highly recommend.

Great campsite nestled in the lovely dales, gorgeous views from your tent! Great facilities and kept clean and well stocked (showers could use some improvement, lots of water everywhere when others have used them, replacing curtains with screens would be great!).

Really enjoyed our stay at Stablefell. Out of the way and a really quiet area (which we like), but close enough to visit Richmond and Aysgarth falls, 20 minutes down the road by car. Lovely showers and toilets, very clean and the water was hot. The owners were friendly and make pizzas on a Saturday night, which were delicious. Overall, loved our stay and will be recommending to family.

Great site in a lovely location, close to lots that the Yorkshire dales has to offer. The site has a back to nature vibe e.g. no EHU, free roaming chickens and beautiful views. The owners are really friendly and helpful. would recommend and will return for another stay.

3 of us stayed for the first time and we had such a lovely welcoming stay. The hosts were very lovely, they made us feel welcome and assisted with anything we needed. The campsite is beautifully maintained and has generous sized pitches. The facilities were lovely, clean and tidy with added use of shared freezers. Having a little shop for wood and essentials along side the options to buy fresh homemade pizzas, hot drinks and croissants really made the stay feel homely. Will stay again, thank you!

A gorgeous campsite nestled in the depths of the dales. Miles of country roads separate you from any major settlements giving the site an immersive countryside feel. The views of the surrounding fells were spectacular. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and the amenities on offer were excellent, from bathing facilities to the small shop. We used the site as a base to explore the Yorkshire Three Peaks, and while they are around a 40min drive away, the drive is incredible, winding over the fells and through the valleys. A perfect site to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales from!

What a beautiful place to unwind destress and relax. Set in Raydale the walk down to Semerwater was outstanding and I stopped to bathe my feet in the crystal clear stream in Marsett. The campsite was clean tidy and there was plenty of room on my pitch (just me and my one man tent). Each of the pitches has a fire pit and you can buy wood from the camp shop along with essentials such as biscuits, Haribos and Pringles, like I said, essentials :) Jo opened the shop everyday at 5:30 and even did pizza nights where you can order wood fired pizzas the day before. The shower and tower block are high quality, very clean and modern. If you want time away with a wild camping style, but with the convenience of great toilets and showers, this is the place for you. I will be back, that's for sure, there's a reason it's called 'God's own Country'! Thanks Stablefell, I had a superb time.

As far as campsites go, this is in a very nice location, albeit 4 miles to the nearest store. Toilets were clean although looking a little jaded in parts. The pitch was very well proportioned with a fire pit and good access to it. The only downside were the midges as we all had lots of bites. This was not the campsite's fault, but ours for not bringing a repellent. Overall, a good campsite, if not a little overpriced but happy with our stay.

This is a lovely campsite. Beautifully situated, in a quiet valley. Jo's welcome and attention to detail make the site special. I enjoyed the weekend pizzas, and sitting round the wood fire at night. Surrounded by hills, there are plenty of footpaths to walk straight from the camp.
Fantastic campsite!

Me and my friend had a lovely time here. The lady was very nice, chatty and helpful. The campsite was well kept, toilets were clean and nice. Firewood and kindling was cheap and the shop had some supplies. There were horses and goats and chickens!! The roads are scary, but the location is lovely, remote and peaceful.

There are firepits on site and refrigeration facilities for food. There is plenty of room on each pitch and amazing views. There are goats and horses in the fields.
