I've never seen a better site honestly. Super easy checkin. Really friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were always clean and never once had to queue for a shower. Water is super hot with excellent pressure. The site is really well maintained and tidy. I stayed on my own with just me and my dog and so had to bring the dog with me when I went to the loo and shower and the cubicles were plenty big enough to bring her in with me (I have a large rottweiler!). Really handy kitchenette with fridge/freezers, kettle, microwave and lots of sinks for washing up. Hair dryers in the bathrooms. Handy onsite shop and hut to buy coffee/pizza from. Honestly couldn't find one fault with tbe place and I cant wait to come back!!

We had a perfect weekend. so relaxed. The facilities were perfect, clean and kept on top of. The pizza was the tastiest pizza we've had in a long time, all fresh ingredients! The views were phenomenal and so much to do for adults and kids! A little gutted they wouldn't let me live with the alpacas but that's probably for the best 🤣 Can't wait to visit again and escape the busy lifestyle.

Where do I start, clean family/dog friendly site surrounded by natures magic and quite a few sheep, I love sheep! Located not far from Bolton Abbey, so easy walking distance, to enjoy the delights by the river. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely wonderful campsite. Easy to find right next to Bolton Priory and Hesketh Farm. All of the staff on the site are friendly and helpful from reception to the pizza makers. It couldn't be any easier from registering when first entering the campsite, to finding a pitch. There is lots of space for all size tents and the surrounding views are just wonderful. Loads of space for children to play, two main visiting attractions and a couple of pubs within walking distance. Skipton only 20 mins drive away. We will definitely be coming back again to stay and explore more of the area.

We had a 2 night stay here and have loved every moment. Friendly service via the phone and while checking in. We was able to chose our own pitch which is a massive bonus as we like to on the edge of it all.. been able to have a fire and bbq is a massive hit! Gorgeous views from our tent and in the heart of Bolton Abby with so many walks. We'll definitely be back again ☺️

We had a very relaxing and amazing stay over two days, as the site was perfect placed to visit local scenery, and had great facilities, which were super clean, also the staff were very helpful 😊. We are thinking about staying in again in early August with the kids.

Impeccably clean, facilities superb, pizzas divine, lattes and pain au chocolates in the mornings, perfect, and the setting was beautiful. Well located for walks along the River Wharf. Pre-information really really good too - like a countdown to our stay. Spot on - keep doing what you're doing Catgill. X

Positives. Not only were the toilet and shower blocks clean and well stocked, they were also heated which was a lovely touch. Dogs allowed so we all got to go. The pizza kitchen was fabulous and incredibly welcome on our first night to save us cooking. Fire pit hire, BBQ stand hire etc were very handy. Wash up room has lots of sinks, a microwave, kettle and big fridge and freezers with labels to put on your food which you can store in there free of charge. Great to know for future potential trips. Alpacas by the kids play field and dog walk area were super cute, our kids even got to feed them, which was lovely. Baby lambs were right up to the fences with their mamas, the kids enjoyed seeing them. Location is great to explore. We went to the cool 50s style ice cream parlour down the road (Billy Bobs), Skipton Castle and Brimham Rocks on the way home. Negatives. We didn't like the gravel pitch, handy that it was levelled for the tent to be flat but would much rather them have done this and re-grassed it. The whole site was hilly so kids football area was on a steep hill too, awkward for a game. There's no play park with swings or any other equipment which would have been good. Our kids found a rope swing someone has made which entertained them. Noise - don't underestimate how loud all the animals are and bring earplugs if you are coming here. I swear some of these sheep are auditioning for a zombie apocalypse movie and they practice their best scenes at night, all night! Selling ear plugs at the shop on site would be helpful and definitely a money maker for them.
Absolutly fantastic!

Fantastic! All the people who run the site are so helpful and friendly, the campers that we met were helpful and friendly. Being brand new campers we did need some help with tent. The amenities were really good (I want to say fantastic but I've said it too many times 🤣) Nothing was too much for the staff. I honestly would recommend to anybody it's such an amazing place. We will definitely be back!

Just returned from a short 2 night camping trip at Catgill with my 9 year old son. We had a great weekend, with lovely weather in the day and a fire pit at night when it got colder. The campsite is in an amazing location with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location within walking distance to Bolton Abbey. Beautiful site with super friendly and helpful staff. Nice facilities which were very clean. The only let down was the actual pitch. Booked a grass pitch but was given a gravel pitch. For that reason, I wouldn't go again, I only want to pitch my tent on grass, which is why I look for grass pitches! But everything else was perfect!

Great location with some great walks from the campsite or short drive away. We also enjoyed Skipton. Site is well set up for people who want to glamp, a bit commercialised with pizza shack, coffee and cooked breakfasts and bar for an 'away from it all' or authentic back to basics camping experience. There were a few issues with hot showers and water supply while we were there, but facilities generally good and clean. Fridges freezers useful for keeping shopping chilled. Popular with families and some fairy large groups.

I recently stayed at this campsite and was thoroughly impressed. The facilities were immaculate, with everything well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The friendly environment, coupled with the beautiful surroundings, made for an incredibly pleasant stay. I highly recommend this campsite for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and inviting outdoor experience.
