Flying visit

My husband and I stayed the one night. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The views around the campsite were gorgeous. Showers and toilets were spotless. We haven't camped for a long time and the owner lent us an electric hook up. Found a gorgeous town, Y Felinheli, not far with two bars and had a festival going on. Lovely children's play area and Marina. Would definitely return here.

Lovely maintained site

Great location, quiet and tranquil with lovely gardens and woods. Toilet facilities excellent. Site owners work hard to keep everything looking good. Will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic!

We visited last weekend as two couples and Paul went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. We had no electricity to our campervan and Paul lent us his own cable to enable us to have power, lighting and to charge our devices. He provided us with everything to have our own firepit and was checking in constantly to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The site was peaceful, picturesque and extremely clean. We had the best time and so glad we chose Tros Y Waen and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Wales. 5*

A beautiful, clean and peaceful campsite!

Stunning location with the most amazing sunsets. Close to so many beautiful places to visit. Excellent facilities, showers, toilets and wash up area absolutely spotless. Will definitely return.

Fantastic stay over

Needed somewhere to stay over for a night following a swim event in Menai. Have to say, this place was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful. Well kept grounds, very tidy. Toilets and showers were spotless. Will definitely stay again.

Family weekend away

Great spacious pitches in the camping field. It did get quite soggy in the heavy rain but it soon drained. The toilets/showers were very clean and tidy. We had a wonderful time, with grown up family with us. It was a nice quiet site away from main roads. There was a nice walk to a stream and play area. Some of our party are going to be booking again in the next couple of weeks, to stay with friends. We will be definitely be visiting again.

Amazing

Wonderful site - wish we could have stayed longer!

Good and quiet camping but expensive

3 showers is not sufficient when camping is booked full. But, they were clean and had nice hot water.

Short two night stay

Lovely, clean and quite site. Clean bathroom and facilities also. Perfect spot to stay for the Zip line.

Fantastic site with brilliant, clean facilities. Owners really friendly and knew our name upon our visit. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, clean, quiet campsite

Highly recommend - clean toilets and well stocked laundry/utility room. Tent pitch was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Friendly peaceful spacious site

A friendly, helpful welcome. Lovely site, plenty of space between pitches and the atmosphere is peaceful, even when busy. A mix of units, well laid out. My only reservation is the shower drains don't cope well following a busy W/E (and I question the facilities are large enough for the site when it's full). However, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Tros Y Waen.

Cracking stay

We've never camped before and this site made it all very easy. We arrived later than we planned and were greeted in a friendly and helpful manner. The pitch was great and the site was clean, tidy and pretty. Facilities were excellent. Our daughters absolutely loved it and made a great base for exploring North Wales.

Lovely site

A lovely site close to all amenities friendly and helpful staff. Showers were lovely and warm, fire pits and logs available. Would definitely visit there again. We went as a family group to visit Zip World and had a great time.

Amazing sight and host

A great location. It was close to lots of things by a short car journey but also tucked away in its own little paradise. The host was amazing and relaxed. The site had really good vibes, the weather we had was amazing, so I could be slightly bias.

Great stay, great facilities, great location

Great campsite, we stayed 3 nights over the Bank Holiday and the host was super responsive. Very accommodating. Great location for hikes around Snowdonia, close to the beaches. Thank you very much.

Clean, tidy and peaceful

The staff at the park really made the trip worthwhile. They were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. The location of the site is central to many activities and days out that really would suit any traveller, from families to solo campers. The staff did a fantastic job keeping all facilities clean, tidy and well stocked. The toilets and showers were conveniently located on the park, which meant no matter where you were on site it wasn't a far walk. Overall I can't rate this site highly enough. it's peaceful, clean, tidy and located in a fantastic part of the world and run by fantastic people. I hope you visit again very soon.

Clean site & showers, spacious pitches Amazing hot showers, excellent facilities. So easy to get everywhere.

Excellent facilities

Our first time with a van rather than camping. We appreciated the hard standing during a boggy Easter break. Toilets/showers and washing up facilities were the best I've ever seen at a campsite. The site isn't really anywhere, but it was easy to drive up into Llanberis. There was a great play park on site but it was quite a long walk from the campervan pitch, so the kids couldn't use it much as they would have liked.
