Friendly Staff and Good Management

I had a positive experience with Campsites. The staff are friendly, supportive, and easy to work with. Management is professional, organised, and always willing to help when needed. Overall, it is a good company with a positive working environment.

Great little campsite

Lovely little site, owner is great, very friendly and accommodating, he changed our pitch as we wanted something slightly bigger so our awning would fit. Very clean, toilets and showers are amazing. I loved the peace and quiet it is nice to go to an adults only site occasionally. Great for dogs .. lovely walk along the canal.

Lovely campsite

Great site

Great site with few tents on, great location and really friendly staff, you are in the countryside enough to feel far away from people but with a small village close by we could get food when we wanted

Perfect

Amazing camp site

This is one of our favourite camp sites, it is so clean and tidy and the owners are warm and friendly. It is so handy to get to too, just a mile of junction 36, you are central also to Kendal and Windermere. If you want to chill and just rest up then this is the perfect campsite.

Excellent camp site

Excellent site for adults only, friendly welcome and informative information for local pub. Very clean and everything available in shower block you need. Will definitely visit again.

Great facility nearby the M6

Great facility, quiet but still near the M6. Along the canal, great for walking or cycling tours!

Lovely relaxing weekend.

We had such a lovely stay at this campsite and would happily return. The atmosphere was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and the owners made us feel really welcome throughout our visit. They were there to greet us and were bobbing around if you needed anything. The pitches were incredibly spacious, giving everyone plenty of room and a relaxed feel around the site. One of the standout features was the facilities — they were spotless at all times and felt genuinely luxurious for a campsite. The showers and bathrooms were modern, clean, and very well maintained. (You need your 20p’s but I would have paid £1 for that shower!) Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, and well-run campsite that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Early May bank holiday camping

Lovely site, very well maintained all round and plenty of room including room for your vehicle next to your pitch. Excellent personal hygiene facilities with nice products available for your use if required. Great washing up facilities and good washing machine & tumble dryer. Site owners were very friendly and helpful without being too over bearing. Good communication from site owners via email prior to arrival. Would definitely stay here again. .

Excellent campsite and location

Friendly, helpful welcome and great location near, but not too close, to the motorway, by a canal and short walk to pub with great food. Probably the smartest toilet/shower block you're ever likely to come across. Could do with just a few more perhaps, but not a problem for us as we weren't in a rush to get away.

Perfect little campsite!

So pleased to have found this perfect campsite for my trip away in my Tentbox! Paul and Sarah were very helpful and always not far away if needed. The shower and toilet facilities were excellent and always kept clean. They were lovely and warm too. The campsite was tidy and well cared for. Great location to get around if not using your car. Bus stops are close by and I also cycled to Arnside coastal town and back. Very conveniently located next to Crooklands hotel/bar which was busy and had a good vibe to it. Nice seating area outside. Will definitely return.

Excellent Site

Excellent site, love that it's adults only. Had a really chilled weekend. Owners and facilities are amazing. Have already booked to go again.

Quiet and Serene

This campsite was super quaint, clean and well-maintained. We stayed here as a couple for a long weekend before our new baby arrived and we got all the relaxation we needed! Crooklands was a lovely pub to go to when the weather was a bit wet. We didn’t stay for food but it looked really tasty. Facilities were superb with private rooms for toilet and large shower wet rooms with sink, mirror, bench and hooks. The showers are 20p for 3 minutes but definitely worth it. Just don’t put a pound in like me as it will only give you the 3 minutes! Thankfully the man at reception very kindly reimbursed us with lots of 20ps for the future. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great camp site

Little Acre is a lovely site. We were very pleased. The facilities are very clean. We hope to stay again when the weather is better.
