Set ten minutes from the charming market town of Ross-on-Wye, Broadmeadow Touring Park is a peaceful base with two private lakes. A 15 minute drive takes you to Symonds Yat for scenic walking and cycling trails, canoeing and riverside views. Choose from spacious electric grass or hardstanding pitches for your motorhome, caravan or campervan. Dogs are welcome too, with a dedicated dog walk for them to explore!

About the site


Nestled beside the River Wye, this touring park offers a peaceful base for exploring the Wye Valley. Home to two private lakes, it's an ideal spot to unwind with waterside walks, enjoy a picnic, or go fishing. The site offers 85 pitches, some grass and some hardstanding, for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Each pitch measures 5.5m by 10m and comes with a 16 amp hook up and a grass area, while some pitches enjoy views across the lakes. Ross-on-Wye is a ten minute walk away, offering everything from independent shops and traditional pubs to scenic walks along the river. Venture a little further, and you'll reach Symonds Yat, a 15 minute drive away, where you can enjoy viewpoints, woodland and cycling trails, and even activities such as canoeing. Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch. There is a dedicated dog walk for them to explore. Please note that due to dry conditions, BBQs are not allowed. Open fires are not permitted.

Guests have access to two spacious shower blocks with toilets, a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and a family bathroom with baby changing facilities. Please note that during the low season, only one shower block is open. Black and grey waste disposal points are also provided.

There are also indoor washing up sinks, a laundry area with coin-operated washers and dryers, and free WiFi. A dedicated dog walking area is also available.

The site is home to two large private lakes, offering peaceful walks, picnic spots and fishing. As the lakes are not stocked regularly, please check with the site before booking.

The market town of Ross-on-Wye is just a 15 minute walk away, where you'll find supermarkets including Morrisons and Aldi, along with a choice of places to eat and drink such as The Mail Rooms and The Royal.

Grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook up, suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch is 5.5m x 10.1m and allows up to four people.

Check-in is from 12:00pm Monday to Saturday and 2:00pm Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. Check out is by 11:00am Monday to Saturdays and 1:00pm Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Dogs are welcome onsite, with up to two dogs per booking. BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised off the ground. Please note that open fires are prohibited.

Onsite, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll by the two beautiful lakes.

There is plenty to explore from the site on foot. A 15 minute walk will take you to the charming market town, Ross on Wye. Here you can explore the arts and crafts galleries and enjoy a drink by the river. Just a 15 minute drive away you can find activities such as canoeing and orienteering at Symonds Yat.

Eastnor Castle is a 25 minute drive away. The popular attraction offers a historic castle with beautiful gardens, perfect for a day of exploration. A 35 minute drive will take you to the famous 12th-century ruin, Tintern Abbey which is great for a peaceful visit.
