Moss Wood Caravan Park offers a peaceful base in the Lancashire countryside, within a 15 minute drive of Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland. There are fully serviced hardstanding pitches for tourers, each with electric, water and grey waste points. Onsite, there is a shop selling delicious local produce, a coarse fishing lake, walking trails and two play parks. For days at the beach, Blackpool and Cleveleys are both within a 35-40 minute drive!

You would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful campsite in such an unspoilt location. The planting and landscaping is by far the best I have seen. The toilet block matches high end ensuite facilities. There is an huge recreation field with benches and tables, it's a travesty to call it a field, as it is more of a park. There is also a well maintained woodland walk. The wardens here certainly take enormous pride in ensuring this is one of the most beautiful sites you could wish to stay on. The shop is well equipped too and not overpriced. Very friendly and so close to Lancaster too. There are two play parks for children and you can let your dog off the lead in the recreation field. It might be a little remote for some, as no facilities within walking distance, but this is a true gem. I will definitely be coming back.
