Clear filters Touring caravan
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Well worthy of it's 5 star rating. The site is beautifully maintained and there are plenty of activities if you choose to partake in them. The toilet and shower facilities are fantastic, not encountered ones as good as this before.

Enjoyable holiday
Twin Axle Caravan - Large Premier Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We would highly recommend this site. The staff were all very helpful and smiley. The shower blocks were the best we've experienced. The dog walks are good.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2023 Had a very warm welcome when we arrived. Campsite is very clean and tidy, had lovely facilities and was very quiet.

Amazing place
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Upper Meadow Non Electric Pitches Aug 2023 Very friendly place, beautiful and clean and not too far from Bude centre.
Overall a lovely place, would recommend booking early for the onsite restaurant although the takeaway onsite didn't disappoint.
The cocktail bar was lovely and the pitch and putt was fun.
All dog friendly, so perfect, little place.

One of the best sites in the UK
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is probably the best site we've stayed at and probably one of the best in the UK.
The site is spotless and very well kept. Shower blocks would rival many hotel bathrooms too.
Facilities are second to none with a great shop, takeaway, on site pub and cocktail bar, large playground, chip and putt golf and lovely woodland walks. They even have a doggy shower for after those sandy frolics.
You're 10 mins from the centre of Bude which is walkable but the trek back up the hill might put you off.
Honestly can't think of anything negative to say. We'll definitely be back.

A welcoming campsite!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We had booked 2 nights here in our VW Campervan but decided to stay another night as we loved the site and weather was fab!
Great facilities for all. Toilet/shower blocks very clean to high standard. Brilliant location, walks for our dog in the woodland and field provided. The Preston Gate Pub/ food was good! Do pre-book table as it gets busy but worth the wait.
Would highly recommend the campsite!

Great campsite in Cornish countryside
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Upper Meadow Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Wooda is an amazing countryside campsite, with lovely ocean views in the distance. Very clean facilities, lots for the kids to do, very friendly staff, really recommend this campsite for families and nature lovers. Great location just outside Bude.

Lovely, well tended campsite
Large Tent - Upper Meadow Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We recently stayed in the Upper Meadow field in an electric pitch in a 6 man tent. The pitch was of a good size, was in a good location for water and refuse area, and a small walk to the facilities.
We were very impressed with Wooda, specifically the care and attention to the little things like music in the ablutions, fairies on the local wood walk and frequent emails regarding our upcoming stay etc. It is all we expected and more and will certainly be back! Thank you Wooda! The playpark as well as the cocktail bar were frequently used! 😄

Lovely site, really clean!

Large Tent - Upper Meadow Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Really lovely site, everything on hand for all, not far from Bude.
Lovely local pubs as well as somewhere to eat on site.
Facilities great, park nice and clean, staff very pleasant.

Campervan stop over
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2023 Absolutely love this site, really pretty, well kept and clean. Nice walk into Bude which took about 40 minutes. Great pub just a 5 minute walk, but the site has everything you need.

Clean and tidy site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A large site divided up into sections depending on requirements.
Next time, I would opt for a gravel hard standing rather than grass to give more privacy. Lots for families to do - at extra small cost. Food from the take-away and restaurant was really good quality and reasonable. The local pub was a 10 min walk away but no footpath so could be dodgy with children or in the dark. Bus was sporadic, so we walked into Bude which took about 45 mins.
You need to take care due to lack of footpath for about half the journey. Segway on site was great fun and worth the money. Only negative was the children in the bathroom facility messing about and creating great noise - not the sites fault.

All our hardstanding pitches are screened, but we also have several grass pitches on the park that have hedges on each side making them more private.
The walk to Bude does take about 40 minutes and currently there is no pavement to walk on for the first 10/15 minutes, but cars are restricted in speed through the village of Poughill. We are however planning to create a new footpath next year which allow guest to walk to Poughill without having to walk on the side of the road.
We hope to welcome you back to Wooda.

Amazing park and we will return
Single Axle Caravan - Premier Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Despite a very wet and windy week at Wooda we have had a fantastic time and an already booked to return.
The bathrooms are spotless. The laundry room is great. Herb garden, wetsuit wash and dog bath are all great extras to make a stay more comfortable.
My only suggestions would be that the restaurant needs to be larger for the size of the park. Food was amazing though. Also, the mountain bike track is pretty hairy to get to down as it is a very steep rocky track which would challenge the most confident of riders. We never reached the woods as the kids were put off.

I am sorry to hear that you found the hand dryer really poor. We have recently renovated the toilet and shower block nearest to Bramble Park and Dyson hand dryers have been installed in this building. As the hand dryers need upgrading in other facilities on the park, these will all be changed to a Dyson.

Great campsite - highly recommend
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Campsite has been well thought out and planned for all sizes of tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Very children (of all ages) and dog friendly. Located close to Bude and easy access to the beaches and local facilities. Would highly recommend anyone to use this campsite.
We will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful camp site
Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 We went here for only 2 nights as it is only 1 hour away from home and we wanted to try out our new motorhome. What a wonderful find!
Everything was immaculate, the new shower block was like a 5 star hotel! The staff were all very friendly - we checked in a reception, had coffee in the lounge, ate in the courtyard as we had the dog with us and had cocktails on the terrace - all were really good.
We spent the whole time on the site and walked the nature walk and woodland trail, then let the dog have a run in the huge exercise field which she loved.
All in all, a 5* experience and we will definitely be back.
