Bus pick up right outside and good pub in village.

Camping getaway
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The campsite was very good, a good size. The peg space was a really good size. We had a medium tent and there was a lot of room left for tables, chairs, BBQs etc.
Very tidy. The toilet and showers were in good working order. Cleaned each day.
Owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was a breakfast van over the weekend. Good variety of food. The couple who owned it were lovely.
A short walk away from a pub and a shop.
We would definitely be visiting again.

Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This was an ideal campsite for my granddaughter and I.
Jayne was very welcoming and informative and whenever we saw Mark, he would say hello..
We were allocated a lovely and very spacious corner pitch. It was clearly marked out and nice and flat. The showers and toilet pods were extremely clean. The shower cubicle has a fold out seat, and the hooks are situated so that our clothes weren't wet when we finished showering, which is not often the case with campsite showers.
The site was nice and quiet, which is just what we prefer.
There was also a breakfast van on site, which served delicious breakfast baps, with good quality ingredients, they even delivered it to our camper and were very friendly.
The location is ideal and is situated opposite Trevaskis Farm, which is a great place to go for lunch, take the children to see the farm animals, or go fruit picking.
We found our stay to be very relaxing and we will definitely return.

Great comfortable camping pods

Amazing
Shepherd's Hut - Rosie Shepherd's Hut Jun 2025 Jayne and Mike where absolutely fantastic, friendly and so helpful. The campsite is top level clean with well attended bathroom/shower facilities.
Onsite is a lovely little breakfast hut with all made to order, cooked breakfast, which was a perfect way to start the day. The owners (sorry, I didn't get your names) where so lovely and kind. even delivered (in the rain) our food to us at our hut.
Jayne and Mike's true passion for what they do really shines through in this amazing site. Already booked another stay and can't wait to visit again.

Glamping
Camping Pod - Jasmin Camping Pod Jun 2025 Great place to camp. Owners are absolutely lovely and the service was great.
Definitely recommend staying here whether you want to camp or glamp.
I will definitely want to stay here again if another opportunity comes up.

Cornish campsite near Gwithian
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Clean site with spacious plots and spotless facilities.
Allocation of plots seemed a little random as there was plenty of space on the site, but a campervan was put in the plot next to me, between another campervan, so we were a little crowded together.
Only slight downside was the road noise from the adjacent lane down to Gwithian and the A30 which was nearby. Not a showstopper but perhaps not as tranquil when in a tent.

We are sorry that that you experienced some road noise from the lane and that you felt over crowded. Many of our guests return to us and ask for certain pitches, therefore allocation of plots is dependent on the number of requests that we receive for particular areas of the field from return campers and new customers like yourselves. Also we take into account the volume of bookings, the weather and which pitches have had tents on them and need resting, so that our pitches remain in good condition for future campers throughout the season.

Convenient location in Cornwall
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Stayed for one night in a small tent, however pitches were a decent size to accommodate larger tents.
Good clean facilities and friendly, helpful onsite warden..
Would definitely stay here again.

Good campsite - dog tolerant only
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This is a very good campsite.
We were given a welcome pack and given all the information in a friendly way on arrival. The campsite is well maintained with goodish facilities e.g. warm showers, loos and washing up area. As well as glamping etc.
We were told clearly "dogs on lead only" which is usual, but there is no where to walk the dog - nearest village is approx one and a half miles away on narrow country lanes. Our dog a Border Collie puppy was happily playing/retrieving a ball (completely under control) with two little girls next to us and the owner came out to say there were "no exceptions" to the lead rule. Maybe this is because of insurance or owner is anxious?

Thank you for acknowledging that we did ask you to keep your lovely border collie on a lead. We do this at check in for everyone with dogs and at confirmation of booking.
Please be assured that it is in no way because we only tolerate dogs or that I am anxious. It is for the comfort of all guests on site, those with and without dogs. We fully appreciate that your collie puppy was under control, but we had around 15 dogs on site at the time of your booking and if one dog is seen off the lead, it is then seen as as acceptable by all other dog owners to do likewise, which then creates a problem. Therefore for equality we tell everyone.
We do not advertise as having an exercise area for dogs, but the campsite stretches over 4 acres and you are very welcome to walk your dog on a lead around the field. The welcome pack also gives information on beaches and places that allow dogs at this time of year, where you can allow them off a lead and throw a ball for them.
There is also a lane which runs down the side of our field into Gwithian and another into the village which is 0.7 of a mile from the site. It’s such a shame that you didn’t come to the office as we could have made you aware of places to walk your dog and we also have treats in the office for our canine and feline visitors.
Once again thank you for staying with us. We hope that you will visit us again in the future, but completely understand if our site does not meet your needs

Family friendly, budget friendly

Perfect campsite
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This was our first time camping and we couldn't have picked a better site. Pitches were nice and flat and as someone who is obsessed with cleanliness, found the toilets and showers to always be very clean. Absolutely no complaints.
Very peaceful and quiet and we will definitely be back. Cannot wait to return.

Met a beautiful savannah cat, Sampson, being walked around the site. Tasty homemade cake for sale.

First visit to Cornwall
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Our first visit to Cornwall, we couldn't ask for better campsite. Very quiet place, affordable and a short drive to all the attractions Cornwall has to offer.
People were friendly and helpful. Tent plot was a generous size.
Showers/toilets very clean.
CCTV on site.
Dogs welcome, quiet road nearby was perfect for a dog walk.
Food truck on site - breakfast made to order. Homemade cakes available to buy.
We all had a great time.

Wonderful stay at old Stables campsite

The site is well maintained and clean and tidy. We visited St Ives by bus and was very pleased with the area

Fantastic site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Excellent campsite in a perfect location, 10 mins to park and ride train for St Ives and 20 mins to Perranporth beach. A 10 min walk to the local village and village pub. Took the bus into Hayle from the local village.
Campsite owners super helpful and always on hand if needed. Breakfast van on site a few days a week, fab scrambled egg on toast delivered straight to the van!
Toilets and shower facilities always super clean and stocked up.
Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Motorhome Pitch May 2025 This is a little gem of a site, it was so much better than expected. The facilities were excellent and the morning breakfast bar was an amazing addition. There was even an ice cream van that came around for the children.
We can't fault the site and will definitely return.
