Excellent base
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 Spacious level pitches, immaculate facilities, excellent location for St Ives & St Michael's Mount. And, most of all, really helpful, friendly owners! (Did I mention the fab homemade cakes too?!)

Great campsite and would come back
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Great facilities. Clean and more than enough so you're not queuing in the mornings. Good value. Food van. Good location, central to all in south west Cornwall.

Very peaceful stay
Apr 2023 The owners were both very welcoming and helpful. We arrived quite late and they stayed on site so we could check in. They were very helpful and polite.
The site was very clean and tidy. Showers were good for a campsite. Plenty of toilets/showers available.
The beach is only a short drive away and shops close by too. Would highly recommend.

Great new, and clean facilities and plenty of hot water. Accommodating, easy to deal with, value for money and a very warm welcome too.

Shepherd's Hut - Rosie Shepherd's Hut Sep 2022 Just absolutely blown away by the service and this accommodation, and our entire stay at the Old Stables Campsite.
So impressed.
We can't wait to stay again, can't recommend this place enough x

Fantastic site!!
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Jayne and Mike run a brilliant campsite with lots of character and in an ideal spot for exploring nearby beaches and towns.
The facilities were lovely and clean with enough showers and loos, so you weren't waiting for people to finish. The washing up area was very well kept and there was plenty of fridge/freezer space.
Already recommended to friends and family.

5 stars Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Just got back from spending 12 nights camping and we didn't want to come home. The campsite has clean toilets, hot showers and clean washing up facilities. Friendly owners too, what more could you ask for? Would definitely go back.

Perfect
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Old Stables campsite is exactly what it says. Basic, but has everything you need for a base camp; friendly staff, clean facilities and a flat field with pitches around the edge and space to play games in the middle.
