Clear filters Not for us Single Axle Caravan - Large Electric Grass Pitches - Watergate Field Sep 2024 A good location for Newquay and the entrance to site looks good. The toilets and showers were not good and I feel as if they need a refurb asap, as they were very dirty!
Didn't use the swimming pool so can't comment on this.
Left after 2 nights VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches - Fistral Field Aug 2024 Booked for 5 nights but left after two.
Pitches were quite small were placed on a pitch directly opposite a toilet. Washing up block, facilities massively run down, showers were mouldy, doors broken, toilet seats all stained. Swimming pool is a farce, no option to book the indoor one as fully booked instantly. We didn't realise people from outside the park could also book into it!
Outdoor pool looked run down. Also, there were weeds growing everywhere and pool seemed dirty. Was glad to see the back of the place. We did complain about the facilities and the staff were helpful and gave a refund (couldn't fault the staff at all). However, the site could really do with some TLC.
Disappointing Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches - Fistral Field Aug 2024 When I arrived at reception to book in, there was no confirmation of my booking. This took the staff approximately an hour to sort and confirm my booking. They did apologise to be fair.
There was no pitch allocated for me and my family, so we were squeezed onto a corner of a pitching area in the Watergate field that was not officially a pitch. It had no number, was overgrown and had uneven ground for the tent.
We shared the water tap which was normal, but the tap was hogged by a caravan owner who got funny with us every time we disconnected his connector to get water for our kettle. The showers were filthy and blocked with sand, so when showering, the water was not draining away and dirty water was coming up into the shower tray. My partner, when showering, had to lift the door to be able close the shower door properly for it not to leak onto the floor of the cubicle. Then, when he was in the shower, he had a dirty mop come under the cubicle door to mop the floor and got his trainers wet! The cleaning attendant was female and did not shout she was coming in to let the men know. The shower block was very dirty and not attended to for long periods of time.
My family and I tried booking for the indoor pool on both days we were there but no availability at all. We braved the outdoor pool. I found plastic beakers floating in the pool and the floor was green from all the algae! The on site shop was poorly stocked, had nothing but sweets and crisps - literally, that is it!
For the money I paid, £130 for 2 nights, it was expensive, disappointing and I was upset with what I got!

Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches - Fistral Field Aug 2024 Great site and location, loved the on site gym and has both indoor and outdoor pools, plus tennis courts.
Shop on site bakes fresh food daily and also has a pub. Will definitely be returning. Lovely, friendly staff too.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches - Fistral Field Aug 2024 After reading some of the negative comments I was a bit apprehensive about staying. But please ignore the negative comments staff were lovely, great facilities very clean and took about 10mins drive to beach and town centre or you could catch bus which is a few minutes walk away from site.
Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

Dirty, unfriendly and no support Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches - Fistral Field Jul 2024 The staff were unfriendly. Did not show or tell us where anything was. The facilities are dirty, disgusting.
The pub on site was horrendous. And facilities, such as pool, difficult to use.
Had a lovely stay
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches - Watergate Field Jul 2024 We had a lovey warm welcome to Atlantic Reach and were shown right to our pitch. The pitch was spacious and there were drinking water points, which were very handy to all pitches.
The kids parks was really good. The mini golf was really fun and was included in the holiday price along with the air conditioned soft play area, which was needed to keep cool one afternoon.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only thing that we found tricky was the outdoor swimming booking. We stayed three nights and only managed one swim because you had to book and they were full. The sessions were very strange lengths too 2-3 hours long.
If they had been shorter sessions maybe more people could have enjoyed these facilities. In other sites you tend to get one hour, which then means you can generally go every day or twice a day, if there are spaces left over.
The other thing was that the toilets weren't as clean as other facilities. We have recently visited and there wasn't hand soap in all the dispensers, so you had to try them all to find some.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would visit the site again in future.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches - Watergate Field Jul 2024 Came for a week with my partner and young daughter and had an amazing time! Clean facilities, great indoor swimming pool and location. Would definitely come again.
