Motorhome - Wild Grass PitchesJul 2025

Exactly what it says on the tin, a no frills wild camp experience. Great if you are in a car or on a bike with a tent, ok if like us you are in a motorhome dependent on size. Tracks are agricultural so access in a large motor home with limited ground clearance could be a challenge but we managed it and found a great little spot in the orchard. Facilities are limited so be prepared for a back to basics experience.

Amazing back to basics site in great location

VW-Type Campervan - Wild Grass PitchesJul 2025

We had a warm welcome on arrival, and were given a map of the site. Only there for one night but think we'll be back again as it's a lovely place to get away from it all and get back to basics. There was also a little shallow river which my dog found and enjoyed having a splash in.

Tranquil and relaxed camping

VW-Type Campervan - Wild Grass PitchesJun 2025

Lovely traditional campsite where you can pitch where you like. I loved the carefully hand built loos and showers, and especially the watering can shower heads. The site was spacious and facilities clean and easy to get too. Highly recommend for laid back old school camping on a farm.
