Wet and windy!

Winds gusting up to 50mph and torrential rain, so not an auspicious stay. Facilities are super clean but sadly not enough showers and toilets when it's busy. Came home early due to foul weather and today the sun shines. Staff are lovely 😁

Loved it!

I will definitely be returning. Lovely little quiet, clean site. On site café. Overlooking the marina. Lovely sunset. Location good for what we wanted. Great little chippy which serves delicious fish 'n' chips (but only accepts cash) and cooked to order so be prepared to wait.

Our stay

You could not fault the campsite it was very clean and the staff were lovely. We went into town for fish and chips which were first class, but not a lot more to say about the town.

Unique spot to take a break

This campsite is in an amazing and unique spot. The surrounding marina is a joy to see every day, fresh fish from the harbour when a small trawler docks. Some nice walks to round off a lovely break.

Lovely site

Lovely little site in easy walking distance of friendly seaside town. The staff were really friendly and gave good advice on local dining options. Short walk to local pubs with good food and drinks at great prices. And really good local dog walking too.

Peaceful

Site was lovely and spotlessly clean. Maryport let the site down, as it felt a little rundown, but loved the harbour and the peace and quiet.

Brilliant first time in a pod

One small thing - no HDMI socket, an easy fix, just change the a socket. Brilliant, a toaster would be spot on.

Beautiful peaceful Harbour Side

Beautiful aquarium visit. Sadly, all the little shops in town closing down. Local pub meal was tasty, friendly people and service.

Our first trip

We recently bought our first campervan and this was our first campsite we stayed at. In a great location and quiet, staff great, facilities modern and clean and very reasonable price. Couldn't ask for any more.

Harbour stay

Lovely place to stay, right on the harbour and not too far to walk to the shops or train station. Toilets spotless. Staff very helpful.

Lovely clean relaxing site

What a lovely clean site, the toilets and showers were fantastic and so clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The cafe on site was spot on.

2 day stay

Great location at the marina with great views and bars and restaurants within waking distance.

Quiet & peaceful

Nice quiet site away from the town and traffic. Washrooms were really nice & clean. Good facilities.

Only stayed and explored Maryport for one night, but had everything we needed!

Harbour Side Caravan Site in Maryport

A great site located at the Harbour in Maryport, catering for Motorhomes and touring caravans. There was also the option of 3 camping pods which were all clean, compact with easy access. The hardstanding area's, are gravel with scope to pitch your awning onto a grassed area, with water, electric and easy access. Also being a compact site, the access to the shower and toilet facilities was no trouble, they were very clean and tidy. There was a café and basic shop available on site. A short walk into Maryport there were shops, bars, takeaways and bric-a-brac shops. There is also lovely harbour to walk round with views across the sea. Walking or cycling was made easy with good paths to follow. We will visit again and also recommend trying the site.

Good location

Good location and walks, weather and high winds dampened the experience. Nothing the camp site can do about the weather.

Immaculate site

The reception staff were very polite and informative, and the site facilities were very clean, immaculate and very well kept. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent site

Excellent site. Well laid out. Good level hardstanding with electric and water. Toilet/shower block spotlessly clean. Will be returning.

Campsite

A well kept campsite in a great area. The site had some lovely views and the staff were so helpful. I would recommend this site.

Marina site

Lovely, small site. The amenities block is first class, very clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Felt that some of the pitches are on the small side, particularly width wise. Unfortunately the town itself lacks restaurants and there are lots of empty shops. It is obvious that work is on going to upgrade the area.

Very good facilities, an excellent location and would recommend.

Weekend getaway

Great, right on the harbour and close enough to walk to the pub and the chippy. Small site, good facilities and dog friendly too!

A week to chill

Situated at the marina plenty to do for walking and places to visit the town is ok plenty shops for your essentials and cafes to get a bite to eat.The locals give you the usual Cumbrian welcome

Fantastic location, good size pitches, near to the coast, near to restaurants, shops etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazing views.
