Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The location was scenic and the staff of this place was really helpful and accommodating. They even popped us in a spare glamping pod when the ground was wet.
Loved it, amazing staff
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Just left here after 2 nights camping and can honestly say, the staff were the nicest we've had at any campsite.
Very helpful and supportive with the weather conditions being all over the shop. Helpful without being intrusive and very welcoming on arrival. Would 100 percent come back when the weather isn't as bad!

Good little holiday
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 We actually really liked it, was a shame the winds ruined our tent and we had to go out and buy a new one. But, we had a lovely time, Haverigg beach was lovely when the tide was in.
Only issue was the wash and dryer cost £10 every time we needed to use it.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 We had a fantastic time, customer service is very good, originally I booked non-electric grass pitch, but changed it to electric grass pitch when I phoned up. Toilet and shower facilities are kept very clean. Highly recommend.
Lovely stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 A lovely campsite, we managed to get a spot on the edge, which had a lovely view, it was nice and peaceful.
The toilets/showers were always clean and there was lots to do within a walking distance such as the beach, a fish and chip shop and some dog walks ect.
Good base to explore
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Pitches Aug 2024 A very busy site, but all quiet at 10:00 pm. The facilities were good and the security guy was most helpful.
Can highly recommend the ice cream on site and the chip shop in Haverigg, the latter is cash only though. We spent a day in Coniston, which was superb. All in all, a very good, relaxing break.
Little gem
Twin Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Just returned from a last minute, two night stay at Harbour Lights with my two children and the dog.
Lovely little site just a few yards from the beach which we were lucky enough to enjoy in the sunshine! I wouldn't say there is tons of stuff to do in the area, particularly if you have children, but for a little break, it is a cracking little place.
Staff very friendly and laid back, beautiful home made ice cream, coffees sold on site, and the showers were absolutely brilliant, could not fault it! Fantastic park for kids just down the road in Millom, and the Chinese takeaway in Millom was also very good! Would have happily paid for an extra couple of nights if it wasn't for the torrential rain on our last day, but would definitely return in the future.
Don't expect indoor swimming pools, entertainment and fun fair rides on site. If you want a quiet break with excellent, clean facilities at a fair price, then I would 100% recommend.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2024 Great one night stop over, not much in the village although it has 2 pubs and a Londis.
Great ice cream shop onsite. Shower block was clean and modern.
Pitches were a little close where we were, but plenty of camping area.
First time in a pod
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (2 person, Dog Friendly) Aug 2024 Enjoyed our first night in a pod. Beautiful place. Lots of tents, campervans, but quiet site. Showers and toilets, lovely and warm and clean. Enjoyed the firepit. Pod was clean and warm, big enough. Bed comfy. Staff in reception were lovely.

Camping Pod - Mega Ensuite Glamping Pods (Dog Friendly) Jul 2024 We have just returned from 2 nights in one of the Mega Pods (Glamping Pod). The pod itself was fantastic! It was clean and spacious. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (5 yrs old and 12 yrs old).
We didn't know what to expect as we've never been glamping before. There was everything in there including a kitchen: fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, knives, scissors etc (as well as oven, kettle and microwave). The bathroom was really spacious with a toilet, sink and large shower. The beds were comfy. The pull out bed was easy to set up. There was a bench outside and two chairs (we took 2 camping chairs but didn't really need them). There's the option of a fire pit but we didn't use that.
Overall, the campsite is lovely and clean. Everyone was really friendly and not a lot of noise or disturbance. The staff were really friendly and welcoming.
The village itself is a bit sparse and desolate, but the walk to the beach and on to the disused lighthouse is lovely. There's plenty of sites to see within a shortish drive so the lack of things in the actual village of Haverigg isn't an issue. There's a Tesco in Millom which is only a five minutes drive away.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend! We were sad to leave and wished we'd booked longer.

Perfect family and dog friendly site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 We stayed for two nights, and the grass field is very level and tidy. The facilities are clean and an excellent standard and staff told us where to find everything we need on arrival. There is a small beach directly beside the site, and a larger beach a very short walk away with a quiet little seaside town. The area is very dog friendly, never far from a bowl of water or dog friendly ice cream! Our children loved every minute.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Enjoyed our stay; quiet site, lovely combined toilet and showers.
Lovely coffee and ice cream onsite in the ice cream parlour. Very friendly wardens who made us feel welcome from day one. We did 420 miles on our trike and saw some lovely places.
It was a good base. Havering has a good chippy so does Millom. Would recommend the site to my friends.
Fabulous campsite
Camping Pod - Mega Ensuite Glamping Pods (Dog Friendly) Jul 2024 Amazing campsite. Very clean great facilities, ski bar good for tea & drinks. Coffee shop ice cream shop on site.
Water park great for kids. Will definitely be back!
Great place for families
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Really lovely place. You really can enjoy the best of both worlds. The beach and lagoon is just next door with a great water park and places to eat and drink. Then, on the other hand, the lakes are a short drive away.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Pitches Jul 2024 Very impressed with my pitch, the friendly welcome from the staff and the toilet and showering facilities being spotless. One thing I did notice and mention to the staff was that I thought vehicles did not adhere to the 5mph speed limit, which could be significant now school holidays have just started...I would suggest much bigger signs.

Pitch was nice and level, which isn't always the case.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Toilets very clean and plenty of hot water in the showers.
We stayed at the far end of the campsite and it was very peaceful.
Electric hook up, but not serviced. We did require the water butt and waste water butt, not a problem though.
