Clear filters Lovely site
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Pitches Jul 2024 Beautiful, quiet site. Very clean, showers are brilliant, huge rooms and plenty of hot water.
Staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they even give us a lift to the train station as we couldn't get a taxi and picked us up when we got back after our day out, now that's what I call excellent service.
Coffee shop and ice cream parlour on site and its delicious! The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the camp. Highly recommend harbour lights, beautiful site.
Friendly and welcoming staff
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 We had a great stay. Lovely relaxing break with good walks along the coast. Interesting wildlife and good to see the re-wilding of a post -industrial area.
Great location for short walks
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Individual wet room shower and toilet facilities good and having only one closed at a time for cleaning is an ideal solution that many sites don't have. More showers and toilets and additional waste water points for size of site would be useful.
Also, very sorry to say that there are no recycling facilities on site which in current times, is very disappointing. Whilst not necessarily sites fault, but the local council should already be doing its bit to provide separate recycling bins on a site with this capacity. Site lovely during week when quiet but filled up lots prior to and during weekend with lots of kids still making noise at 11pm. But guess that's part of booking onto a non adult only site for weekends.
Overall, enjoyed the stay and would return but, maybe Sunday to Friday to avoid the weekend.
Brilliant stay
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (2 person, Dog Friendly) Jun 2024 Our stay at Harbour lights was brilliant! We had pod three, with a very comfortable double bed and underfloor heating. The campsite is lovely and quiet, really clean and in a good location.
In particular, Andrea, kept the office open for a few extra minutes when I forgot my card to buy some firewood, she was really friendly and helpful and this speaks volumes of the experience the site wants their customers to have!
Booking to return soon.
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Gravel Pitches Jun 2024 Facilities on site are great, but may benefit from an onsite shop for essentials. After saying that, Londis is a 5 minutes walk and Tesco is a 10 minute drive. Campsite is clean and well kept, if you are camping, don't forget hard ground tent pegs as the gravel pitches were difficult to get ordinary tent pegs through.
Coffee shop and Ice cream shop on site were great and there is a fantastic bar on the next resort that caters for meat lovers and Vegan (anything on their menu will be converted to a vegan option).
If you have got kids, there is enough of a beach for them to enjoy, but the site is actually on the tidal estuary and there are a lot of sand/ mud banks.
Great views and great walks and a RSPB sanctuary within a 15 minute walk.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2024 We had a lovely 5 nights on this site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site and facilities were kept lovely and clean. 2 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely visit this site again.
Perfect stay

The staff member was great, she showed us all we need to know and very happy to help.

Short and neat
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Pitches Jun 2024 One night stay but returning shortly for two more days. Didn't have a chance to use the ice-cream/coffee place but seemed okay.
Clean toilet and shower facilities. Helpful and friendly security guard.

Haverigg was very quiet with minimal attractions. The staff at the site, however, were very good and the site itself has everything you need.
Difficult to find

We lost way several times even following GPS navigation closely, leading to late late arrival.

An out-of-the-way gem
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 A perfect site for our weekend. The owners are lovely and the facilities are among the best we've seen - immaculately clean.
The site itself is extremely well kept with a quiet, friendly atmosphere - well, it was quiet until I had my motorcycle running - sorry guys!
We will definitely be coming back - just not during monsoon season!
Excellent site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Excellent site, the team were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, all the facilities were immaculate, can't rate the staff and management highly enough. The only criticism would be that they could do with better signage from the main road.
Weekend escape
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Pitches Jun 2024 Lovely campsite with excellent faciliites. The showers were lovely and warm. You just pushed the button and the water ran for quite a while before you had to press it again (unlike some showers where you practically have to keep your hand on the button the whole time!). The towel rails were constantly heated.
The beach was five minutes away and the village of Haverigg was just a ten minute walk away. Be aware though, that most of the businesses in the village don't take cards, only cash, though there is a cashpoint outside the post office. We had lovely, reasonably priced meals in the Ski Bar and the Harbour Hotel (both huge portions) and I can recommend the Ski Bar lager.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with some lovely walks and I would recommend Harbour Lights if you're wanting a relaxing break.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2024 Very pleasant stay. When we arrived it was blowing a gale so I asked if we could upgrade to a pod. The ladies I dealt with in the office was great. It was out of hours but nothing was too much trouble.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Outstanding shower/wet rooms. Very busy site but plenty of toilets/showers and washing up facilities. Beautiful landscape, with views of the hills and next to a lovely nature reserve (great hour circular walk). Almost on site bar was lovely and Haverigg had a decent beach and local bars/shop. Great for families.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 A fantastic campsite. The site is kept clean, tidy and well maintained.
Plenty of facilities, the toilet/shower block is cleaned regular with good lighting and is heated. There is a homemade ice cream shop on site, absolutely delicious and even do cones for dogs. Ski bar, fish & chip shop, pub and grocery shop all within walking distance.
My favourite campsite so far.

I wanted a site near a beach.
A family did turn up the day before we came home, and they had 5 boys. They were just having fun, but it had been quite peaceful prior to that. (You can't expect kids to be quiet, it's just exciting for them.)
The site was lovely, location was great. Loved that it had a bar close and pubs, local chippy, walks, ice-cream parlour, water park near. I will definitely return with my niece and nephews. The only downside is the toilet hut that just had toilets in and didn't have toilet roll in on a few occasions. I tried to keep the shower and toilet cubicle free for those that wanted showers. It also needed a rubber broom in all the shower cubicles, so we could clear down after a shower, but I always go in flip flops anyway so it wasn't a huge deal.

Absolutely fabulous
Apr 2024 We enjoyed our stay that much we booked an extra night.
They really couldn't have been any more welcoming, dog friendly and locals were lovely. Really quirky bar 2 mins away and a great beach walk. All facilities were clean and easily accessible.
We will most definitely be back 👍🤗

Stunning site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Loved this site. The lady at reception was friendly and showed us to our pitch, just opposite the homemade ice cream parlour. The showers and toilets were combined which was a great idea. Hot water and a towel rail. Very clean.
Close to a local restaurant, pubs and a local shop, also a fish and chip shop.
Great dog walking on the area. We came across the owners while out walking who introduced us to their pet sleep who they rescued.
I'd definitely recommend this place and would be going back.
