Lovely site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Pitches With Hot Tub Sep 2025 Visited for two nights and treated ourselves to a hot tub pitch, even though it rained we still got use of the hot tub area and its enclosure. Facilities very clean and great hot showers! We’re on pitch 13 and would have preferred a pitch in other field but will try for that next time.
Amazing campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2025 Just had an amazing 4 nights at Wallace lane, it was peaceful and lots of space - we were lucky that the site was quiet so our dogs had a good amount of space to play fetch across the empty pitches.
The Facilities were great and always spotless, with a fridge and microwave for anyone to use.
Get sent a really helpful welcome pack before the stay giving you ideas for days out and even the takeaways that deliver to the site if you fancy a night off cooking.

The site is kept very tidy and clean, our lodge had absolutely everything that we needed for a weekend stay, hot tub was amazing.
I would definitely come back again!

Glamping Cabin - Lapwing Lodge with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Aug 2025 A fantastic place to spend a few day. Ideal for exploring the Lake District, but also a wonderful, calm and extremely clean site for relaxing. We loved everything about it!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Was a really good campsite with local villages, loads of walking routes, food places.
Facilities were close to the the pitches, pitches had water right next to which was helpful. Really lovely staff.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 This is a beautiful farm campsite, it has a wide range of facilities from camping, touring, caravans, lodges, etc. We camped with electric hook up and hired a fire pit for our campfires.
Very welcoming and pleasant staff at all times, who were knowledgeable about the surrounding area and happy to help with suggestions for things to do and places to visit. Little shop has a wide range, if slightly limited stock.
Clean and tidy, allowing for the fact some people visiting aren't helpful! The staff work hard to ensure the whole site and facilities such as the showers and toilets are kept clean.
Extras such as communal fridges, freezers, kettle and toaster available in the covered wash area. WiFi and charging point lockers also available

Glamping Cabin - Glamping Cabins With Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Aug 2025 Staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble and plenty of staff around the site if needed.
The cabin was brilliant everything you needed was there. Hot tub was ready on arrival and was checked daily. The welcome pack was really helpful to find information about the local area.
Even though we went in the school holidays it was still peaceful and the children loved the fairy glen.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Had a lovely single night stay here last night. We are complete newbies to caravan life and this was our first trip with our two toddlers and dog!
Facilities are great and always clean. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lovely site - would 100% recommend.

Superb campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 The showers and toilet facilities were great, spotless, the lady who cleaned them every day was very thorough.
Couldn't fault anything about the site, owners lovely, even had pizza delivered to your tent if you didn't fancy cooking one night.
Would highly recommend for families, lovely fairy garden and the walks and scenery were stunning.
An enjoyable stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 As a large group of 9, we found it difficult to find the right campsite for us, until we found Wallace Lane.
Located 50 minutes from Scafell Pike and within good driving distance of exhilarating towns such as Keswick, Wallace Lane gave us a solid campsite with opportunities in abundance to explore. We arrived in separate cars at different times, but the staff were very friendly and directed us to our pitches in no time.
The pizza was great and something unique to Wallace Lane which showed off their excellent care for their customers. Other campers were friendly and the toilet/shower facilities were clean too.
It is easy to see why this site is ranked so highly and we would certainly recommend it to anyone else staying in the Lake District.
Superb site
Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Huge pitches, we have a large tent and have to take two cars and the hook-up pitches accommodated us easily. Biggest pitch we've ever had.
Staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. Also the cleanest facilities we've had. We went on one of the busiest weeks of the year which included a bank holiday weekend and all facilities are unisex and not once did I go onto a bathroom and marvel at the state of some people's hygiene. They must clean them 5 times a day!
Amazing sunsets too. Would definitely go back.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 First time staying at this farm location.
We had a motorhome and a hook up position. Lovely clean site with a nice feel from the site staff. Peaceful and quiet, except for a few early morning dog barking, but mitigated by an early evening curfew from 9pm. Would go again.

Very well thought out campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 This is, hands down, one of the best UK campsites we've stayed at. Pitches were a great size and the whole site was well kept.
The facilities were really well thought out. Showers were hot, the toilets, washing up and fridge/freezer facilities were well kept, but it was the little touches that made it - plenty of blue roll and cleaning supplies, mop to wipe down showers and labels for things being put in the fridge.
Fire pits can be hired and pizza ordered and delivered to the pitch. All the staff were really helpful and friendly.
We only stayed for three nights, as a stop off on the way to Scotland, but will definitely be coming back for a longer stay at some point.
Quiet location
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Site was well looked after and the pitches were huge, great shop and good checking in process.
There is a bit of a slope on the field, and we didn't think there were enough toilets and showers, especially when it got a bit busier later in the week. Also, staff clean the facilities right at the busiest time in the morning, which we haven't experienced elsewhere.
Overall, we had a great week though.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We couldn't recommend this site enough. Our stay here was fantastic.
The facilities are spot on. Toilets and showers are kept very clean, and praise the lord we finally found somewhere with a decent hot shower.
Staff very friendly, nice little shop on site, the Woodfired pizza's were amazing! And delivered right to your pitch! Can't get much better than that after a 10 hour hike. Then there's a bonus on a hot day an ice cream van comes round, they also have Alpacas, cute as!
We've stayed at a fair few sites, this is by far the best one to date. Hope to visit again soon :)
