Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2024 We throughly enjoyed our stay here!
We received a lovely, friendly welcome. The site is lovely & the pitch was perfect. The toilets & shower were very clean, tidy and efficient.
We wouldn't hesitate coming back again. Very easy & relaxing, we'd highly recommend!

The hot tub was fab. Facilities were limited but clean. Staff were very friendly.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Well, having arrived and then the van gave up so had to be towed to the pitch.
Now waiting for a low loader to recover the van.
The couple who run the site couldn't be any more helpful and understanding. Definitely will be back once the van is fixed.

Glamping Cabin - Glamping Cabins With Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Apr 2024 Fantastic stay.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the on-site services are great and our cabin (Kestrel) was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, even on a rainy day when we had to stay in and play Monopoly! The hot tub was the star of the show for all of us, but the whole stay was top tier.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Mar 2024 Great stay. Would like to visit again during the summer months. Great campervan pitches. Great walk on Caldbeck Common and by the river at Whelpo (2 hours or so). Lovely meal at the Oddfellows Arms, a little drive into Keswick. Very quiet area.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Feb 2024 First time caravanners on our first trip away and this site was all you could ask for in terms of convenience, cleanliness and peace and quiet.
Will definitely be returning.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Pitches With Hot Tub Jan 2024 We were originally looking for a cottage with a hot tub, but couldn't find a dog friendly one so we came across this by accident, but so glad we did.
Large pitches. Friendly staff. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Booked to go back in September.
Best bit was the hot tub, just the right temperature.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jan 2024 Excellent site. Really friendly and helpful owners. Excellent facilities. Lovely, well stocked shop on site with good quality products on sale. Nothing was a bother. Pitches were well kept, toilet block was immaculate and Wi-Fi was good.

Superb stay
Glamping Cabin - Glamping Cabins With Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Jan 2024 For an 18 and 19 year old couple coming to the site, I felt a little shy as we are a young couple. The person who greeted me and said where to go etc spoke to me kindly and with passion, making me feel welcome.
The stay was fabulous. Hot tub was clean and inside the cabin felt warm and homely. One downside I will put on the cleanliness is the cobwebs above the bed, in the corners and near the door. Apart from that, it was a fabulous stay with a shop available on the grounds. There were no noises and everyone was respectful to the noise rules.
One piece of advise is to maybe put markers around the centre grass island saying 'cars will get stuck if driven on' or 'don't go on grass due to soft ground' as I accidentally went on the grass and got stuck, but that was my bad 😣 Sorry for any inconvenience!
Thank you for the stay and I will definitely be coming back.
Fabulous overnight stay
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Nov 2023 Couldn't fault the welcome, the friendliness, the facilities and the great area for letting the dogs run around.
The only problem was one of our own making. We forgot to pack the wellies!
Highly recommended.
A lovely peaceful location in the Lake District
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Oct 2023 We only stayed here as a stopover on our way to Scotland, but we were really impressed with the friendly staff, the clean facilities and the size of the pitches. It seemed in quite a remote place and although we didn't explore, I believe there were plenty of walks around the campsite.
We'd love to go back to explore the area more.

Couldn't fault it and the facilities were very clean. Went for the hot tub pitch was fantastic and very warm!
Would recommend and will be back when up this way again.
Good base to explore the lakes Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2023 Friendly site with the best on-site dog walk. The only issue I had was that the caravan pitches could be more level. It took a few attempts before I got set up with a level caravan and awning secured to the ground! Other than that a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic site, great safari tent
Safari Tent - Safari Tent Sep 2023 Really well equipped and comfortable stay, allowing us to experience the fresh air of camping despite disabilities. Staff couldn't do enough to help, fixing a leaky shower instantly, and supplying copious spare towels. Super clean, generous with toilet roll etc, personal BBQ supplied. Really reasonable prices, quiet and v. pet friendly.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2023 We had a lovely weekend in the lakes to finish off the summer holidays, it was the kids first time in the lakes. We had a 5 month old baby, 3 year old, 6 year old and two dogs and the campsite suited us perfectly. Just a short 25 min drive from Keswick, it's peaceful and chilled and offers great facilities. The kids loved it and we are definitely planning to stay there again.
