Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Very nice campsite, well maintained, very clean and with all the facilities you need. View was awesome too. Ideal for a family of 6 with a baby, being our first time camping with the kids too, will come again 😀

Great pitch with a great view over the Solway Firth. We had plenty of space between the pitches. There was plenty of good quality facilities, never had to wait for a toilet or shower. Always very clean and well stocked.
Good location with access to Keswick, Penrith and Carlisle within 30 mins drive.
Would recommend this site to all, perfect for friends, families or couples.
Northern Lake District
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely campsite situated on the northern edge of the Lake District with stunning views. 30 min drive to Keswick and Derwentwater, where there is lots to do.
Staff on site are friendly and welcoming. On site shop, which hires BBQ's and fire pits, are reasonably priced. There are good facilities, which are modern and clean.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 This campsite is fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Staff are friendly, showers and toilets are the cleanest around. Very impressed. Certainly will be staying again.

The site had brilliant facilities - lots of toilets, fab showers, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer etc. The staff were also lovely! I will definitely be back to this site!!

Great campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2023 Just had 2 nights stays at Wallace Lane, toilets and showers were immaculate, cleaning products were also available.
Great location, nice country roads to drive through and not too far to other locations. Staff were very friendly, plenty of space around our pitch.
Would stay here for longer next time.
Lovely campsite in a great location
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely campsite in a peaceful location. Friendly site owners, great little shop and the shower blocks and toilets were clean and of a good standard. Lovely bubbling brook running through the back of the campsite and up to the toilet and washing up block. Couldn't fault our stay. Even the weather, though rainy at times, the sun shone too.
We hopped over the border to visit a Scottish Castle - Caerlaverock, which was breath-taking and had a little walk around Gretna Green… all about and hour away. Fab campsite, will definitely visit again!

Excellent Campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 We really enjoyed our weekend break here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with a relaxed approach but on hand to help if needed. Lovely well stocked shop for any provisions which our children enjoyed visiting to buy milk in the morning!
We were situated in a lovely positioned plot spaced out from other campers. The field was quiet but if full you still would have plenty space. Excellent facilities block with 3 showers, 3 WCs and dishwashing. There is also a fridge and freezer available to use and a kettle/toaster which was such a nice idea.
Only criticism would be lack of wash basins. If you aren't showering and just want to have a wash you need to use the sink in the toilets (or the dishwasher sinks) which wasn't ideal. If the site was busy this may clog up the block.
We highly recommend site though and would happily return 💚

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 We were first timers at this site, but definitely won't be our last - spotlessly clean, friendly team of staff, shop selling all sorts and in a good location 😊
Our only observation would be that there was no chemical point in the EHU part (however there is one in the next field, which was only a few minutes walk).

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 Perfect place to camp. Other than the beautiful location, the hosts were were really friendly and welcoming. The washing facilities were spotless and well maintained. The electric hook up pitch was roomy and had great views.
