Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2025 We’ve been to Barn farm before but that was one of their excellent family weekends. This was more relaxed in the family field in the shade of the morning trees. It’s so clean and well looked after.our group had a great time. Were talking about going back next year

Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely and relaxing place to visit. Can't fault anything, everywhere was so clean and tidy and the hard standing pitches were really spaced out.

Never fails to disappoint

Always an added improvement each visit, like shared access to garden games. Really clean facilities and well stocked shop. The visit from the ice cream van was a bonus.

Short weekday stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2025 Really nice site - clean facilities, helpful staff, and a great location close to local pubs and walking routes.
The only downside was the sauna, which we found out is only available to people staying in the cottages. Still, we had a lovely stay overall!
Great campsite for my needs
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Excellent campsite with very good facilities and peace & quiet assisted by fields being designated for different types of camping.
Great walk up to Stanton Moor and bronze age archaeological sites from back of camp site + 10 minute stroll into village if wanting a drink or meal at either of the two pubs; Druid Inn serves good food.

Amazing stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Amazing stay at Barn Farm - site and staff were exceptional and location was amazing to visit Stanton Moor, Rowtor Rocks areas.
We were a bit perplexed by the roads getting to the campsite but once we arrived - brilliant. Red Lion pub closed until Thursday and Druid Inn serves sarnies at lunchtimes but does close early at 5pm some days and 9pm other days. Not sure if in peak season these pubs open later or not - didn't bother us but a point to note.
So peaceful and a tranquil setting. Adult showers were fab!

The perfect break
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This is was perfect for our needs. The host was excellent and all the facilities that we needed were there.
We had warning that there were kids doing their DofE awards however, we never heard a peep from them. There is some fabulous walks and the local pub had some great beer on tap. All in all, it was perfect for our needs.
Beautiful Barn Farm
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 We stayed here for 2 nights in our motorhome on a hard standing pitch with electric hook up.
Barn Farm is in a fantastic location up a hill with beautiful views all around.
The village of Birchover has two good pubs which serve food and both are in easy walking distance from the site, approx 10 minutes. The toilet and shower facilities at Barn Farm are excellent, very clean and well maintained.
Helpful and friendly staff and great walks around the site.

Very good facilities and spacious, my daughter loved the peacocks and llamas. Pubs 5 mins away did great food.
The owner was super helpful and nice, highly recommended.

The location is beautiful with fantastic walks nearby including an ancient stone circle.
We are returning guests and can't wait to book again. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jun 2025 Loved it here the site has everything you might need with lots of clean hot showers adult only ones too... also Alpacas, peacocks and baby swallows.
The village is lovely with 2 great pubs serving food and fab walks too.
Very family friendly, maybe too much so if you don't want to be surrounded by kids.
Barn Farm never disappoints!
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This is my fourth visit to Barn Farm, and I hope to visit again. The day staff are friendly and helpful, and the site security team are very fair.
Barn Farm gives excellent access to numerous wonderful walks in the local area and has some great pubs nearby.
The facilities are well maintained, but cleanliness is impacted by the sheer volume of DofE students. In order to manage this, there are adult only showers, something that is much appreciated.
Thanks again for allowing us to camp in significant numbers with you.

Lovely to watch the peacocks around the site. Lots of places for children to play safely. Loved our 2 night stay, thank you.
