Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Campsite is on a hill, pitches slope so you need to use ramps.

There are 2 pubs within 5 mins walking and in good location for Matlock and Bakewell. Would definitely stay there again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 This is a lovely site with great facilities, tucked away in a quiet part of the Peak District.
Very friendly staff and a super location for walking, visits to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and many other well known sites in the wonderful Peaks.

Toilets and showers are clean and maintained regularly. The shops reasonable priced, has the essentials.
Staff are really friendly, and Is great for the kids. Will definitely book again.
Great site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Been quite a few years since we stayed at Barn Farm. It is still a great site for every age. Very clean facilities and plenty of them. Friendly reception from site staff, happy to give information. Great location for good walks, and easy access to bus for visits to other towns. The two pubs in Birchover are within a few minutes walk and serve good food. We love the Druid Inn! We will definitely be returning to Barn Farm next year.

Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2024 Wonderful first time visit! It was our first time camping as a family of 4, and we loved every moment! Kids happy, parents happy! Excellent area with plenty of natural nature surrounding you! We shall def be returning!
Fantastic site
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2024 First time staying at Barn Farm, located in a great area close to Bakewell and Matlock. It was very easy to get around the local area. Some great walks close by too. The site itself was good, facilities were good and kept clean, children made good use of the playground which was kept in a good safe condition.
The staff on site were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend to anyone.
We will be returning again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2024 This was our second stay at Barn Farm camping and we will definitely be returning again.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very clean and well kept. We loved the games room and enjoyed multiple games of table football, air hockey and pool. We were a bit disappointed that the table tennis table had disappeared. There was lots of space for outdoor games, which is always a bonus!

A number of beautiful Peacocks 🦚 graced the farm. Would definitely return and highly recommend to friends and family AAA+++

A very special place
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 We loved staying here with our granddaughter. The facilities were excellent and very clean. She loved spotting the peacocks roaming around.
I really liked that there were no extra annoying costs for awnings or children. The local pub was within walking distance and very welcoming.
We enjoyed the local walks very much and it was great to have a bus service between the nearby villages.

Awesome, friendly campsite - great amenities
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2024 We have stayed here previously about 10yrs ago. This is a lovely campsite with several fields. The facilities are great (shower blocks, toilets, pot washing, shop, games room and barn area to escape the elements). They had several food outlets (hog roast, pizza and coffee shack) and a cocktail bar for the bank holiday weekend. There was lots of activities and entertainment going on for kids.
Two pubs within a short walking distance. Fields around to walk dogs. We was woken early with the cows mooing but didn’t bother us in the slightest as better than a beeping alarm clock.
Short drive to Matlock or Buxton and plenty of walks around the area.
We will definitely be back and won’t leave it so long next time.
I'm just tired
Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2024 Excellent campsite, mostly on a slope though.
Sadly, we had 2 nights of poor sleep due to the on site peacocks loudly crowing in the early hours of the morning. Very nice to look at but just somewhat annoying.
The staff are friendly and utterly professional, the site is clean and well maintained.

Bank holiday break
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 First time here in the caravan, been a few times in a tent.
The staff worked so hard, went above and beyond in ensuring people who had booked were put together, moving chairs and tables inside for the weather.
The site was really busy with it being Bank Holiday but the facilities were always clean and fully stocked.
Really well organised weekend and great fun had by us all!

Small Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2024 Had my first solo camping adventure! All the facilities were fairly clean when I arrived. Great price, live music and a bar, plenty of food wagons, bouncy castles and a party bus for the kids due to it being a bank holiday, though the live music ended at 10:30pm which was a good time for a decent night sleep.
It's slightly windy due to the forecast and open location. The site itself is between Matlock and Bakewell with plenty of walks in the area too. Birchover has 2 local pubs both within a 10 minute walk and isn't too far from a nice walk near the 9 ladies stone circle.
