Clear filters Really great campsite!
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The campsite was well organised, staff directed you to your space and were really kind and flexible. The pitch was large and well spaced from others, they were clearly marked out.
Facilities were clean and tidy- only gripe is the shower is fairly low for tall people and no bench/space to put your belongings or get dry
Great weekend stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 The site was brilliant. We went on a weekend that was sold out, so the facilities got a bit messy but that is to be expected. Fantastic site with brilliant service, 5*.

Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 Very nice camp site, good facilities and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay slept well and had some lovely walks amongst the new forest ponies.

Grassy electric pitch ended up being a rocky electric pitch which we did not expect so had to but rock pegs instead.

Such a shame. The campsite is gorgeous, in a wonderful location. The horses come right to the gate and there are loads of lovely walks straight from the campsite. Top places to visit are really close. The park onsite is great for all sorts of ages. We loved the planes theme. The staff are friendly.
However, everything was ruined by the lack of management of antisocial behaviour all day and night, and the number of large groups allowed to camp.
The first few days were great, everyone was very respectful of each other. Then the weekend came and big groups of adults with children came and were drinking all day and night and using swear words at each other and their children. They were drinking in the toilet and shower blocks and were extremely noisy way past 3am. Children were allowed to ride e bikes and play cricket very close to other people's vans.
If it was just managed properly, it would have been perfect. As it is, our holiday was ruined as we were just so shattered and worried about our van and car. Our young child shouldn't have been witness to that behaviour.

The site is quite remote and a car is needed to travel anywhere off site but the surrounding are stunning and lovely. The staff at the site are very friendly and helpful!
The facilities are great and very clean, the only suggestion would be that there could be more of them with the size of the site and how busy it was.
Overall a real nice stay and would definitely stay there again!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 With a small young family. Dave recognised our needs instantly and helped up find the perfect pitch after following us on his bike around the site.
He went above and beyond to assist. We also had some issues with noisy neighbours over the weekend. I mentioned it to Dave and he immediately went and spoke to the group causing the problem. Great campsite, have everything you need. Thanks again Dave.
Great location
RV - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 As a couple, I would only recommend this site for weekdays and during term time. It is a quiet and peaceful site until Friday afternoon, then it was havoc.
We had 6 children playing in front of us, hitting car and motorhome with ball/toys. When we asked them to move, their parents sent them back! Really took the shine off it for us.
Toilet block was also filthy Friday and Saturday. Would go back Sunday to Friday.

Not great VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 The pitches were not great, met some nice neighbours, some not so great, like the DoE that arrived and left daily. They were whacking footballs up the side of the toilet block and on someone's car, lots of screaming children.
4 times on different days, I went to the shower block to be told "you can't come in here, they're being cleaned". No signage just a scowling staff member. The showering facilities were probably suited to DoE as they looked like my old schools from 40 years ago.
Went to shop and it was closed at 4:30pm. Check in staff were friendly. Left a day early and went for two nights to a great site with super facilities.
Hot New Forest break
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Good campsite, showers and toilets. Pitch was fairly flat and site was clean and tidy, I did not use the shop or take-away.
There always is a bit of a problem with access to the site as the New Forest ponies collect around the entrance and don't move unless you very carefully approach them in your car and if you are lucky, they will take the hint and make a gap. The site is also good for plane spotting as they come in to land at Bournemouth Airport.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 I had a fantastic stay, all the staff are amazing and so so helpful, 2 staff in particular Ju and Pete went over and beyond to be polite and so helpful.
I had an amazing time here and will be back again in a few months.

Busy place
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 On arrival, after having trouble finding the site, as postcode took us to a different location.
Staff friendly and welcoming, showed us to our pitch. Site provided all the basic things you need, but didn't appear to be any location to fill up campervan water tank. There was only one location to get your drinking water.
The wash rooms are large, which seemed ample for the amount of people there, but often found the sink area dirty and messy (probably due to the amount of people on site) but only one hand dryer.
No dog mess bins, so was unsure where l was supposed to put the bags apart from in the general waste bin. Overall, a good site but a bit too busy for me.

Excellent stay and highly recommend especially with kids
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 We had a fantastic two night stay in our campervan with awning! Our 8-year-old especially loved the newly refurbished playground and the Thursday night pizza from the shop — he declared it the best pizza he's ever had, mostly thanks to all the delicious, gooey cheese! We were lucky to have an excellent grass pitch near both the park and the toilets.
It's a large site, and we noticed lots of families brought bikes, making the most of the old airplane tracks and wide roads for riding around. The toilets were cleaned regularly, and the on-site shop was well-stocked with camping essentials, toys, ice creams, and games to keep the kids happy — plus, they even had the emergency jam we forgot!
We only live just up the road and have often come here for walks, so it was lovely to finally stay over. We're really glad we did!
Even liked the new forest ponies licking our car on the way out!!
We will be back.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 I can here as a child, a mere few years ago. We camped in the exact same spot!
The site was spotless and despite the rain, the toilet blocks and showers were clean and warm.
We had a fab time and wished we could have stayed longer. A little disappointed that we didn't get a round of applause from fellow campers after packing up in the rain, with the dog and the world's smallest car. But, we managed to knacker out a patterdale, so it was a massive success.
Will definitely be back.

Great camp site, in truth the only thing that let it down were the showers and toilet blocks, which were a bit dated. Nothing to ruin our trip at all, really clean and everything worked fine. Staff were friendly and helpful, on-site shop really well stocked.
Good playground for the kids which they spent lots of time in. Would definitely go back!
