Clear filters Fab little site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2024 We were welcomed onto the site by the lovely Karen and Simon. They were warm and informative from the start.
A lovely site, which was quiet when we stayed. It has good facilities, even a small shop. A wander down the lane led us to a pub, where we were served a really nice pint and the dogs were welcome.
Although we had lots of rain and there were no hardstanding pitches on site, we were helped on and off our pitch each day, without any complaints.
We shall definitely return in the summer, we still feel there's lots to explore in the area. Faversham was really nice, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and Sheerness were all within easy distance.
Thank you Karen and Simon for being great campsite hosts.
Nice site, friendly management, good local pub
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 Lovely clean site with friendly and welcoming management.
Local pub did good food but limited access with a dog. Could get biscuits, crisps and milk etc on site, but could have done with a proper shop for normal food too. Access to the site meant going down some narrow roads, which was fine in our VW Camper. Place was spotless and generally well maintained.
Only let down was the showers, which were really weak and hardly drizzled in both gents and ladies. Nice touch of having access to a freezer and dryer. Well lit overnight.

Super friendly, well maintained site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2023 On arrival we were greeted and told everything we needed to know. On leaving once again we were greeted and wished a safe journey. Super friendly and the site has everything you require.
The Alma pub is just a couple of minutes up the lane, always a selling point for us. There is a huge field you can let your dog run around safely in the knowledge it's totally fenced in. Also a dog exercise area.
We would definitely return here if in the area again no questions asked.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2023 If you are looking for a remote secluded stay then this place is ideal. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Facilities are very clean.
There is not much close by accessible on foot other than an amazing pub (The Alma) which is 2 mins walk from the site. Highly recommended for their food and service. Would suggest booking in advance as only a small but clearly popular venue.

Facilities were good, staff very friendly - great dog walk and pub. Faversham centre is well worth a visit. Loved it 😎

Can’t fault it
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Only stayed one night, but can't fault it from what I experienced.
Nine clean facilities, lovely to have a shower that is continuous rather than keep pushing a button in, and a clean shower curtain to section off & keep dry your clothing area. Nice welcome on arrival and handed a piece of paper with free Wi-Fi and other details which was a nice touch. And to top it all off, a lovely village pub called the Alma, a 5 minute walk from the site.
Would definitely return if back in the area ;-)
Great little campsite
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We had a lovely stay at Painters Farm Campsite. The facilities were good and very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
It is very nice camping in between the cherry trees and there is a good local pub close by.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Painters Farm Campsite is a beautiful and friendly campsite with two wonderful people running it. Both very friendly and attentive.
Great sized pitches. Clean facilities. Fab little camper shop. From the pub a two minute walk away, we ordered pizzas to collect and bring back and they were super tasty! Good check-in/check-out times too.
Would defo return and recommend to others.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 What a lovely campsite among mature cherry & plum trees. The site was managed well by Karen and her team with the best kept shower block I've seen! A fabulous little campsite - close to a lovely pub, which served good food!
The site was immaculate and all areas were very well kept - the showers, toilets, dish washing and clothes washing areas were spotless - what a delightful experience!
An amazing stay

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We have had a great stay, beautiful area, nicely organised, cosy pub nearby for tasty food. Generally clean and tidy, all what you need. There is a fridge to use, you can buy ice cream. The only thing we saw was a few mice around tents on walks. Next time we would be prepared and would have something to make sure they keep away. We definitely will be back.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A very friendly welcome from the team. Flat site, clean facilities particularly as the site was busy.
Small onsite shop that has excellent opening hours, convenient for milk etc. Pitches are a little packed in when the site is busy. Good pub to walk to close by.
Hope to stay again and would recommend.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 The on site staff are amazingly helpful, friendly and chatty. Nothing is too much of a problem for them.
There was an issue with the water heating system on the second evening, but it was resolved quickly and 40 mins later, water temp was back to normal.
Parking facilities were ample but after heavy rain, the access to the parking field was a little slippy, due to mud.
Overall, a great little spot, with two of the loveliest staff. Highly recommend staying here.
Friendliest welcome ever
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We were met by the owners and it was like meeting old friends. The site was very relaxed with a couple of big groups but there was no noise, it was nice seeing kids just being kids. Little shop on site, facilities clean and a nice pub just down the road.
We walked into Faversham and got a taxi back after doing the brewery tour. Will definitely be back soon.
