Lovely holiday location

Great experience, everything we expected and watching the skydivers each morning was a welcome bonus.

Camping over Silverstone GP weekend

A really beautiful and thoughtfully created campsite and I loved the seclusion and meadow with mown patches for the pitches. Excellent location for Silverstone and the park and ride. Please pull the ragwort in the meadow, it's horrid seeing this pest plant all over our beautiful English countryside. Also, I missed a bin at the sinks for washing up as there was nowhere to put food waste which I expect clogs up the drains. If there was a small compost bin there for "bits" it would be very effective. The freezer was full of old guest's exploded beer bottles, cans and drinks and needed to be cleaned out as there was no room for new guests. I can imagine if busy, the freezer is not big enough. We would love to visit again.

1st motorcycle trip

Really good, well signposted campsite, clean and well organised. My first trip trying camping on my motorbike so it was important it went well, it did. Thanks.

Delectable location

Delectable campsite, beautiful location and wonderful facilities

Peaceful and comfortable

We booked this last minute for half term and have really enjoyed our stay. The bell tent was clean and beds comfortable. We had our own sink and picnic table and a cool box was provided as well. The toilets and showers were clean and fully stocked with soap and shampoo. We had the site mostly to ourselves as the weather was poor. Still enjoyed a local walk though! I had a query and the owner was very helpful.

Consistently great

This campsite is a real gem 💎 I've stayed a number of times now and I keep returning, so I must like it! On a recent stay the site was very quiet and being an old WWII airfield, it was very atmospheric. Just sitting outside as it was getting dark listening to the birds & muntjac deer - priceless. Great clean facilities, including hot shower and pot washing. If you want get away for some peace & quiet this could be the site for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great campsite

Booked a pitch very last minute when I saw the upcoming nice weather. The facilities were great with nice clean toilets and showers. The fire pit and bench per pitch was a nice touch. Being so close to the airfield was cool as well, if you sleep in past 9am, they may wake you up but wasn't an issue for me!

Birthday break

Beautiful stay in the surroundings of Brackley. The Sheppard's Hut was comfortable, with everything we needed.

Nice venue

Nice campsite. Toilet facilities clean & tidy.

Brilliant location, nice facilities and reasonably priced

Clean facilities, nice pitches, well priced and a good location. Nearby pub is good, nice beer and large menu with lots of gf options if needed. Service not amazing (just took a while for food to come).

We had a great time

We had a great time and would come again. Would request not to be where we were located next time, as there was lots of traffic and noise being right by the loos/showers.

GP weekend

Easy to find and good location for GP, although getting out with the park and ride on the airfield made things a bit difficult. Facilities basic but clean and all worked.

Lovely stay

Was a lovely location away from the noise of the city. Located right next to an airstrip, where we enjoyed watching the planes. Liked the fact that cars have a separate location to park, and a drop off point so you aren't disturbed. Felt safe and comfortable during our stay.

Perfect

We couldn't have asked for more. This campsite is stunning!! The way the pitches are laid out affords you privacy and the facilities are no frills but of excellent quality. The owners genuinely care about their customers and will put right any issues that arise. The views from the site and the surrounding area make this the most wonderful place to stay. Book with confidence, you won't be disappointed.

A little gem!

What a great find. Facilities were great and location excellent for numerous countryside walks. Best bit was the pitches, mowed into the long grass. Really pretty, well kept, and gave us some privacy too. A really quiet, peaceful site. Will definitely be back.

Perfect!

Absolutely perfect! Went for just one night with my toddler and couldn’t have been more well suited! Will be looking to visit again with friends/family! Brilliant site :)

Nice campsite

Next to the airfield so it was fun to watch the small planes fly by and people jumping off their parachutes. I did wake up hearing them in the morning, so if you are a very light sleeper, you might be woken up. Site was well marked, clean and tidy, bench/table and a small fire pit available for sharing between 3 pitches in your area. One of the toilets was quite dirty, but that is probably people not having courtesy for others rather than the fault of the site management. It might be useful for the site to check facilities often to ensure everything stays clean. Overall, a very good experience and would recommend.

This was a great place to stay and highly recommend to anyone. Super peaceful and quiet and beautiful surroundings.

Great campsite

This is a really well thought out campsite on the edge of a former WWII airfield. Great individual areas of mown grass for you to pitch on, each named after an aircraft type. The facilities are clean & tidy all with toilet paper/paper towels/recycling bags & a fridge available too. Also a nice touch - bags of wood (at extra cost) for you to burn in the provided fire pits. Showers/washing up facilities are in the block too, along with walking directions to the nearest pubs. There seemed to be plenty of random bottles of shampoo about which is handy, if like me you forgot to pack some! Overall this is a great campsite if you need to escape the every day… My only negative was the noisy group who pitched next to me, but that's not a criticism of what is a lovely site. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The BEST campsite

Myself and my wife were looking for a nice campsite in the Cotswolds for 1 night and this campsite blew us away. The toilet and shower facilities are really well looked after and have a really nice design in a wooden cabin. Felt safe and everyone was very friendly. A beautiful view too.
