Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely place to camp, much more laid back than most other campsites around Loch Lomond. Allowed campfires and left to enjoy your stay without harassment. Owner continuously trying to improve for guests. Defo recommend, this was our second time here and will be back. The only reason for my 4 star with cleanliness was the mud in our shower room, maybe a mop and bucket for people to clean after themselves would be good.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 I personally really liked and enjoyed this campsite, it has a lovely atmosphere and the host is wonderfully eccentric and made me laugh a lot.
The location and view both amazing! It is pricy for what you get in terms of the facilities as it had very limited toilets and even more limited showers. There also is only one cold tap for washing dishes.
If you prioritise view and banter over facilities, then don't hesitate to book 😄
No disability facilities Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 I chose this site because it had disability facilities for my wife. I booked as the site was wheelchair accessible, however, I felt that it wasn't.
It is the most strange site I have ever been to, it is more like a house where you camp in the front garden. They are packing in far too many people in such a small space which could be a hazard.
The included breakfast is a selection of pre-packaged items from Asda or wherever they have recently shopped. We left early when we were unable to get back into our allocated pitch due to the over crowded site. The owner's dogs are left to roam free and they drop their business wherever they like and no one picks up after them so watch your step.

Havre de paix
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 After a busy day I was just so grateful to find this beautiful "havre de paix" and to be able to relax surrounded by nature and silence. The park was perfect and I had a wonderful time with my dog Heidi.

Too expensive Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 We didn't find any place to empty the sewage tank and it was not easy to access the toilet and shower since there were many people.
It was also a bit secluded, and we couldn't travel into the city easily.
Could have been better Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 This could have been a much better experience for us if a stag party of 20 plus guys hadn't been there from our arrival. On Friday afternoon there was loud music, shouting etc. until they left on a coach but arrived back in the early hours to continue partying. Saturday night was worse as they partied on in the woods.
Only 4 toilets and 2 showers. Breakfast was handy to have available. Evening food was very over priced for what it is, £12 for soup! That said, if you have been walking all day it may be welcome.
I wouldn't stay again if large rowdy groups are accommodated. Shame because it's a great location.
