Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Brilliant campsite, good sized pitches, burger van and shop on site, and bike hire available over the weekend, extremely clean showers/toilets, really good experience in an ideal location, will definitely return here.
Great weekend stay
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Bunchrew as a family of 5 (children aged 2-7). The shower/toilet facilities were good, always clean and well maintained. On site shop is basic but has what you need and the burger van had a decent selection. There was lots of space available for setting up camp, though at busy times I’d definitely say to get there as early as possible to nab the best spots! Really nice situated to explore places like Loch Need and close enough to Inverness centre for the shops. We can’t wait to go back!
Excellent Campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 This is a beautiful campsite as close to the estuary as is possible without getting your feet wet. The children's (and adults!) activity area is well maintained. The campsite is clean, grass cut and well laid out. The staff are friendly and helpful. As people of a senior age we found the long hike to the only abolution block somewhat hair-raising as when you need to go...... perhaps a second block would be useful? Overall we would recommend the site and would visit again but with the proviso of being closer to the toilets!

Good park for the kids and nice shoreside location. Breakfast/dinner van on site. Big washing and drying machines. Relatively quiet and very chilled.
Toilet block could have been a bit cleaner.

Cheery welcome to a friendly site, right on the water.
A dog friendly taxi took us into Inverness where there were loads of options for food and drink.
A good site in a convenient location

Weekend away
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Reception and advice on arrival was excellent.
We were told to park absolutely anywhere on any grass available. This wasn't an issue for us as we arrived and there was plenty space. Issues arose later in the evening when others arrived looking for a space and it got very 'higgelty piggity' (basically a free for all).
Motorbikes came in late at night and were riding around trying to find a spot. Showers were hot and decent. Toilets could have had brushes to try to keep them clean as some of the bowls were disgusting.
Excellent location but feel just needs to be better managed.
Lovely seaside location
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This campsite has a lovely position by Beauly Firth. The facilities are quite old but clean and tidy.
The facilities are also spread around the site rather than grouped in one place.
Staff were very helpful when we needed things or had a question. Frustrating thing is that pitches are not assigned, so we had to find a different position each evening when we returned in the campervan.

Lovely site twixt sea and woods
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Had a lovely visit.
We got to choose our own pitch which was lovely. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Plus point is the burger truck which opens 3 hrs in the morning and again in the evening. So nice to be situated on the shoreline.
We will be back!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 The food truck was not expensive and toilet bock was clean and tidy. The shower bock was clean and tidy and you didn't have to wait for hot water to come through.
The views were nice as well.
