Short stay with friends

Just had a short stay with friends in the family friendly field. Plenty of space for us and the kids to run around, fire pits were very handy and a nice touch. Love quiet location right on the edge of the River Severn. Facilities were clean and checked regularly, owners were very friendly accommodating. Will recommended.

Beautiful campsite with welcoming hosts

We booked Brook house farm as a quick getaway (nearby to us so we didn't have to travel hours with the children in this heat) not expecting much. What a surprise though. Lovely owners made us feel very welcome, beautiful little fishing pond although we didn't catch anything this time will will return for cooler weather to try our luck fishing again. Children had an amazing time such fun and made a couple of friends at the pub garden. The atmosphere was great with some really lovely people. The site has a lot to offer we had a tent this time round but when we visit again in the near future we'd love to book a lodge as they look lovely! Huge thank you to Julia and I didn't get your partners name what a lovely place you have! Lovely breakfast baps, Molly the dog says thank you for her sausages and kids said thank you for the crisps we look forwards to returning very soon. Best wishes. Dave, Sarah, Archie, Faith & Molly!! Camping at Brook House Farm

We have been here around 4 times. It's such a beautiful place, very well run. The owners are lovely and very helpful. They even ordered us an Indian takeaway and brought to us when it arrived!! Perfect for a weekend away with or without children. We have camped and also stayed in the pods. The kids love it and can't wait to go back again soon. Thanks again for a brilliant weekend!

Great stay

Great stay and facilities, pizza also amazing.

Accurate

Beautiful site, not overcrowded. Great bar. Didn't use the showers but they looked very clean.

Camping with a tent

Nice weekend, drinks very reasonable at the club house and excellent food at the three pigeons in the evening for a birthday meal 👌👍

Great site with friendly owners!

We're just back from a two night stay over the bank holiday weekend. The site was in a beautiful location by the river, with plenty of space between tents and a lovely cafe bar onsite. The owner managed to squeeze us in for curry night, even though we hadn't pre-booked and it was busy and also made us a lovely coffee before we left this morning. Would 100% recommend and would happily stay again.

Ace campsite

We had a great time here. We pitched right on the riverside in the very quiet adults only field. Loved the very well stocked bar and gardens. Staff were all really friendly. Great pub about a mile away. Toilets and facilities were great. We will be back.

Absolutely idilic

Not only were the staff absolutely lovely, the campsite was clean and well cared for. It was cozy but it didn’t feel cramped even though it was quite busy. Lovely holiday, can’t wait to come back!

Wet weekend

Good reasonably flat pitch. Site appears to be expanding yet the shower and toilet facilities have not kept up to pace. The potting shed outside seating looked great but inside, it was a mish mash that did not really work. £8 for a tea and a pint of cider was a bit much. Peaceful on the first night but noisy neighbours in the adjacent pods spoiled that for us the following evening.

Lakeside camping

Super quiet site, lovely atmosphere. Toilets are a little bit of a trek, but they were nice. Lovely to be next to the lake, though whilst we were there the ground was fairly boggy.

Excellent site with everything you could need

Lovely picturesque site with different areas for cabins and family tents and adult tents. Small fishing lake on the family camping field and the River Severn on the edge of the adults only camping field. Great cafe and bar area with beautiful sunny garden with seating. Excellent customer service from friendly and helpful staff who make the effort to go above and beyond. Food was great too. Excellent main shower and toilet facilities with a handy portaloo on each field to save walking to the main area. Cannot fault this site at all, just wish we had found it earlier in the year so we could have visited more!

2nd stay and will be back

This is my 2nd stay here and I took my partner for her first stay. The stay was really good and was exactly what we were looking for. The adult only field is a 'choose your own spot' field. I do think it may benefit from pitches being marked out as it all got a bit cramped, especially with a fisherman pitching his bivvy very close to us and our neighbours and proceeding to play music until late in the evening. Our stay was overshadowed by my partner falling and dislocating her shoulder on our first night, so apologies if we woke anyone in the early hours making our way to A&E, the owners were very generous and helpful in the aftermath. The site is quiet which is what we wanted, the potting shed is nice for a drink and something to eat however we were too late for pizza night by 10 minutes so unable to comment on them. They looked good though. I think the toilet/shower block may need expanding or an additional unit installing as there could be a good wait if you time it wrong. Overall, a lovely site, owners are brill and we will be back in 2025.

Fantastic venue!

Fantastic camping site, absolutely stunning views of the river Severn! We stayed for one night, the bar was well stocked and thankfully, quiet for when we were going to bed. Sadly, there was a large group who kept the music going until 2am. Wasn't bothering me and my ear plugs, but my partner had to go and speak to them. Not the campsites fault however! Would definitely visit again and would recommend!

Really nice, quiet site with good staff

This is a site that isn't too big and is pretty well run, food at the café was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Loved being there, would go again!

Two night camping stay

Came here for a 2 night stay camping. Has a nice bar on site which was lovely. Facilities were good and clean, however maybe some more facilities would be better. I also felt some facilities closer to the camping part (adult only part) would be beneficial as it was a bit of a walk to the toilet and we felt a bit out the way.

Very clean

Nicely turned out site. The facilities are great, would have loved the shop and cafe to be open later so we could have eaten, but we were offered something quick to eat when we arrived. We were put in the family site, which meant my teenagers felt they needed to be quiet much earlier because of the younger families. Very quiet.

Great in every way

Fantastic small site. It rained a lot and the grass was well drained, no muddy feet here! Lovely walk to see the river. Clean facilities. Great cakes in the cafe and friendly staff. Great family site. We'll be back!

Idyllic stay

If Carlsberg did holiday campsites, this would be it. Best holiday camp I've ever stayed at. Amenities are first class and the owners very accommodating. Great bar and garden area also, first class stay!

Stunning

First off, I have not given a 5 star rating for service or facilities, they are there but I didn't use them. From the beautifully presented farmhouse through to the Bankside camping ground, everything is 5 star. I will use again.

Beautiful campsite with bar and quiet area

The campsite is quiet and in a lovely location on the river, with different fields for adults only and family. There are brilliant facilities including a bar, a shop and café on site, which serves wood fire pizza on Fridays and afternoon tea if booked in advance. The host is lovely, is really helpful and gave great recommendations for the local area. The facilities are good, with two hot showers in large toilet cubicles, and running water throughout the site. There is access to a little facilities kitchen and was a perfect stay!

Really beautiful location and easy to find. Check in was super easy and the facilities were brilliant. Will definitely book again!

Excellent place to stay

We stayed for 3 nights and didn't want to come home. Lovely looking site. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and always very busy. Great food and big selection of drinks at the site bar. Friday night pizzas the best ever. Absolutely beautiful gift shop on site, leave plenty of space in the car to bring things back with you. We met some lovely people who we hope to see again soon. We will defo be back ASAP.
