About the site
This award winning caravan and camping park is set on spacious fields overlooking the Clwydian Mountain ranges within an area of the Site of Norman Borough Rhuddlan, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Truly a unique place to stay. The friendly, family run site ensures everyone receives a warm welcome, whether it's from the site owners or one of their much-loved sheep dogs! As proud previous winners of the prestigious Visit Wales Gold Award, this is an ideal spot for anyone after a relaxing getaway. The site offers 26 electric grass touring pitches with 16 amp hook ups for campervans, motorhomes and caravans. At the top of the campsite field, there are four adult-only glamping pods offering uninterrupted views of the stunning Clwydian mountain range. All of the glamping pods sleep two and have an ensuite, fully equipped kitchenette, and outdoor seating. WiFi is included. One of the luxury glamping pods has a wood-fired Kikki bath, and another has a wood-fired Hikki hot tub perfect for unwinding. This peaceful, well-maintained site offers a rural atmosphere, yet it's just a ten minute walk to Rhuddlan, where you'll find plenty of places to eat and drink. The beaches of Rhyl and Prestatyn are only a ten minute drive away, and the stunning Snowdonia mountain range is an hour's drive. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you on the grass touring pitches, but must be supervised and on leads at all times. Please note that the glamping pods are pet-free. Open fires are not permitted. BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.
