Lovely site

Lovely site, quite big but nicely spilt out into separate fields. Great if you have a car to get about but if you're walking then there's not much nearby. Pub up the road but no footpaths.

Amazing

First time taking our twins camping. We came as a family with two separate bookings and the site accommodated our request to have pitches next to each other. We couldn't have been put in a better pitch, 30 seconds to the toilets and same to the stream at the back for the kids to paddle in. We will definitely return. 100% a family friendly site.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. A lovely, relaxing experience overall!

Loved our Stay at Bryn Gloch

Everyone at Bryn Gloch was so helpful and friendly! Really enjoyed our stay here - all the facilities were brilliant and the coffee / breakfast van was such a bonus!!

We had the most perfect stay for our first ever camping trip, we’ll most definitely be returning!

Fab place!

Great site, perfect location, staff always available patrolling round. Clean, food vendor, shop etc on site, stunning views, can't wait to come back already for a week this time.

First timers

First time on a campsite, had such a great time.

Perfect campsite!

Could fault this campsite one bit! Toilets and showers regularly cleaned! Was such a peace experience and a perfect place to rest after exploring Snowdonia. Would highly recommend.

Good

It's a lovely campsite, great facilities and a good size. My only complaint would be that there's nobody at reception and the shop closes at 4pm. After this time, there's nobody.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our shop opening hour are currently 10am - 4pm and Reception is open every day 8.30am - 5pm. During peak season this will change to 8.30am - 8pm along with reception at weekends and during the week it is normally 8.30am - 5pm. When the office closes we have a on call warden for any issues you may have on the park during your stay. The number is on your paperwork when you check in and also displayed on the Reception door. Beautiful site, but disabled facilities not ideal

Beautiful site in a stunning location. However, we booked on the basis that there were disabled facilities as advertised and that we would be close to them as requested. t is indeed true that there are disabled facilities, but it is a fair walk to them. Not all toilet blocks are disabled friendly, with 3/4 steps up to the ones closest to us and 1 step up to the next closest. We were advised that the one with 1 step would be best to use. My Mom, who is disabled, was not able to use them so we had to walk to the other end of the site (10 min walk) every time she needed to use them, not really ideal and showed a lack of understanding of the needs of a wheelchair user. However, aside from this the site is fabulous would be wonderful for able bodied guests, just not for us.

Good value for money

Best we have been to, facilities very clean. Had washing machines and dryers that actually worked.

Great location for Snowdon. Plenty of room. Friendly team. Rented a BBQ - good service. Clean and good showers/toilets.

Gorgeous shepherds hut in the heart of Eryri

The shepherds hut was lovely and in a great spot, a short walk from the wet rooms. The bed was comfortable and the heater kept it nice and warm on a wet and cool weekend. A couple of coat hooks would have been handy, but apart from that, it was perfect. We got a chicken kebab and a burger from the food van and it was amazing!

Great family campsite

Great family campsite, lovely helpful staff. Wash facilities very clean and great quality. Lots for kids on site. Little shop and washing facilities as well as a games room. Free Wifi, spectacular views, only 20 mins drive from Snowden. Definitely use again if in the neighbourhood.

Impressive and very clean

Beautiful scenery to wake up too. Facilities very clean. Very impressed, already want to come again but with the family next time as we only came as a couple the first time

Great campsite with lots of facilities

Campsite hosts were very welcoming and helpful to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The shop on site was very convenient for items you may have forgotten to pack for your trip or if you needed a quick snack. Game room, tv room, laundry room, clean showers and toilets were all a huge plus to staying at this campsite. The location was perfect to get a good hike in the mountains and surrounding towns were very close by for a day out. Our toddler enjoyed the two playgrounds on site and it made our stay so much easier with a young child. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful campsite

Absolutely beautiful spot to camp for a few nights. Got all your needed amenities, toilets and showers were always spot on with being cleaned constantly. Staff lovely very friendly, good spot for near by walks too and the beach is about 40 minutes away however the area is lovely.

Perfect site for climbing Snowdon

This is a surprisingly large campsite but spotless and well maintained. The showers had plenty of hot water and were very clean. We had a serviced pitch for our motor home which was spacious and level. We took the Snowdon Hopper bus to the Ranger path and returned via the Llanberis path, the bus service was great both ways and picks you up and drops you off right opposite the site. The site warden very kindly attended to our awning while we were out climbing Snowdon. All the staff were great and there is really nothing to criticise

Perfect location, great facilities

Really wonderful location, 5 minute drive from the Ranger trail up Snowden, £6 parking all day as well. The campsite was very clean and tidy. Facilities is everything you need for a great stay!

Good campsite

Great location and a good campsite for exploring North Wales. However, quite noisy with dogs barking night and early morning - sounds like there are kennels nearby. Hot powerful showers but could be cleaned more often. Quite a few midges so make sure you take cream/spray ect. Good for families with games room and play area.

Stunning views

Check in was easy with pitch already allocated. Site was well maintained, clean & tidy. All staff were friendly & helpful at all times. Shower & toilet facilities were kept clean although possibly needing updating at some stage. Site was not that busy during our visit and remained quiet & peaceful throughout. A great base for an active holiday in Snowdonia. We will be back.

Nicely situated and well maintained site

Very pleased with the site and staff overall, but the ground for my tent pitch was very hard and stony and difficult to peg into. Also, as a back-packer, I would have appreciated some picnic tables scattered about to give me somewhere to sit and eat etc.

Hi Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Bryn Gloch. The ground is very dry at the moment as we have had no rain since Easter time along with everywhere else in the area. We have several area across the park where picnic tables are provided, including a beautiful area by the river where we also have a bbq and benches for customers to use.
