Review of site and facilities

The site was very clean to a high standard including toilets and showers, they were cleaned several times per day. The grounds are well maintained. The weather was wet so we left two nights early. Unfortunately, our stay wasn't the best due to other campers noise and dogs barking, this was addressed by the owners after complaints from other campers on the site. I would however stay here again, the owners are very helpful and ensured all was well during our stay.

Fab tranquility

Will definitely come again, only down side was no WiFi for the kids films of a night.

Snowdon visit

Me and my family stayed at this lovely campsite, as we were climbing Snowdon. The service was second to none and the facilities were great. We would recommend this site to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Our family camping trip

We absolutely loved our stay on this campsite! We had 3 pitches for 3 families and the space was amazing! All of the team members on site were very helpful and welcoming and the facilities were spotless! This campsite was in a great location with so much to do close by. Thanks so much for our stay, we will definitely be back!

Lovely stay

Really impressed with the campsite and bonus points for having organised activities for the bank holiday weekend (a dog show and bouncy castle, and BBQ). Only downside was the showers flooding and other users not mopping after themselves, and there was a dog mess on our pitch as we arrived. Friendly hosts, family friendly campsite, and a great weekend.

Nice set up

Nice set up with caravans and tents. New build showers and toilets for ladies and gents, kept clean. Friendly owner when checking in and son showing us to our pitch.

Perfect stay!

Me and my friends had a lovely stay at the Twll Y Clawdd Park. It was my first camping trip in the camper van. The site was nice and quiet, facilities were clean, showers were decent and the location was good. There is a shop within a 5 minute walk up the road. Close to Llanberis, so took the paddle boards with us. Will definitely be booking again soon :)

Lovely stay

As a family of 4 and 2 dogs we had a lovely stay in our tent, from the moment we arrived the owners were brilliant so friendly and helpful. The pitch was spacious and all the facilities were clean. Over the weekend we were there, there was a big bbq and a dog show which my daughter loved joining in with our dogs. They had a bouncy castle out for the children. Overall a lovely family friendly campsite that we would return to and recommend. Thanks again.

Lovely site

The pitches are big sizes. Lovely & clean site. Came with my sister & our friend & requested to be pitched next to each other which was great. Facilities are kept clean. There are only 3 female toilets so was busy during the mornings & evenings - wasn't a huge issue. Other than that out stay was great & would definitely stay here again.

All the essentials you need and nothing you don't - perfect

Everything essential you need on an immaculate site with immaculate washing and toilet facilities. Lady was lovely and helpful. Everything you could ask from a quite camp site in and ideal spot to get to snowdon etc.

Lovely stay

Stayed here for 2 nights, was a lovely stay really enjoyed our camping experience. Facilities are very clean and shops/ beaches are not too far out which is good. We would stay here again.

Amazing

We stopped for just one night as new to trailer tent camping. It was fantastic. They were so accommodating when we had to add a car and daughter (we had planned to leave her at home!). Great facilities on a site small enough that you could use them without queuing. Very helpful to us given we were setting for the first time. Lovely to have Mobile food van and music for the evening. Lovely surprise

Snowdonia camping

We wasn't at the campsite long as arrived later in the day but was a good location for us to get up early and make to Snowdonia and the facilities were clean.

Wonderful site with calm atmosphere. Kept to the high standard. Great for commuting across North Wales and Snowdonia.

What can I say.... what a beautiful well layer out campsite with fantastic facilities. we stayed in the Bell tent for 2 nights such a lovely experience. Tent was great and beds were comfy. We were staying here to climb Mt Snowdon in memory of my brother for loros and the campsite owners sponsored us a generous amount of money which was so kind and thoughtful. Can't wait to return and would highly recommend 👌

A beautiful place for a beautiful family holiday

If you're an adventurous family looking for somewhere to explore north Wales, this is the site for you. Within 10 minutes of Snowdon, 5 minutes of the most beautiful lake, and 10 minutes to a beach, you'll be running out of time for the things to do. Upon arrival, we were booked in swiftly, showed our spot, and we're able to grab a fire pit and logs there and then. The site was unbelievably clean, well sign posted, with lots of space, but not massive that it felt too busy. The field we were on (non electric camping) was on a slant, which was a bit of a pain when we first arrived, but once we figure out the best way to set up the tent and cooking area, it wasn't a bother at all. The dog field was a gorgeous addition, meaning that the dog could run about in an enclosed space dedicated for him and it was mown in a lovely maze for walking round with the dog. The football field was a brilliant addition for my older kids too. The grass was impeccable, very well kept, with a surrounding hedge of beautiful trees and wildflowers full of birds! The facilities were lovely, toilets and showers in a clean block with baby changing facilities. The showers were toasty warm and the room stayed warm too. There was a dog shower which was an awesome addition, and the bins were clear and accessible at all times too. The whole site was incredibly family friendly, we didn't feel like the kids were too much at any point, and we also felt there was a general sense of mutual respect between everyone to give space and keep the noise to a minimum once later in the evening. We spent our days climbing Snowdon, paddle boarding on the lake (where there is kit to hire if you don't have your own), and exploring the surrounding areas. Whilst the town itself was very small, there is a small shop in walkable distance, and then a larger Morrisons and other options within a 10 min drive. We ran out of time to do everything we wanted so will absolutely be returning to this site.

Wales

The campsite was absolutely beautiful. I can't complain about anything. The only downside was that our tent was on a slope which resulted us rolling down the airbed during the night. I feel there should be a family shower room for people with smaller children as it is impossible to dress and dry in a small space. Overall, we had a lovely time and David was very helpful and his family are very kind.

Wales stay

Great site in a top location for a tour of north Wales, the peaks and lakes. Really friendly and well kept site.

Lovely site

Lovely site. We camped in the tent field. Well maintained. Toilet and shower blocks were modern and clean. Very conveniently located a short drive from snowdonia and the big zip world zipline.

Beautiful site

The couple running this campsite are lovely. I stayed here with my boyfriend, my friend and her fiance. Upon arrival, my friend asked for our pitches to be next to each other. We really appreciated Daniel arranging this for us! It started our stay off on a high. The tent pitches are massive. We took a car and a two man tent - and still had loads of space! This is perfect for families with big tents and gazebo's. The reception area has been well decorated by Sophie, it is super cosy and created a good first impression of the site. There is a little shop corner in the reception, selling camping necessities. The campsite itself is well looked after (mowed grass, beautiful flowers) and arranged in neat sections with names such as 'Orchard Bloom' which is really sweet. The toilets were mostly clean. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring Snowdonia - we were all genuinely so happy with this spot. Caernarfon, Llanberis, supermarkets & restaurants are all a short drive away. The beach is only 15mins away too! The cows grazing on a hill next to the tent field were a gorgeous sight in the evenings. There is a number on the reception door that you can call when the reception is closed. This was great after a long day of hiking, we were able to come back to the campsite at around 8pm and give the number a call, as we wanted to hire a firepit on our last night. Sophie and Daniel were really friendly, they helped out straight away - we really appreciated that because being able to hire the fire pit last minute made our last night extra special :) Overall, a wonderfully run campsite with beautiful views!!
