Clear filters Awful access lane Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 The access to this site is absolutely horrific. The lane down to the site is the narrowest I have ever seen, with a stone wall on either side and overgrown branches. We had millimetres on either side of our motorhome from the walls and had no choice but to brush past the branches and scuff up the sides.
Unfortunately, we had to leave the following morning as we were not prepared to risk damaging our motorhome driving up and down the access lane daily.
On a positive, the setting is lovely if you want somewhere remote, and we enjoyed taking our little one to see the donkeys.

Lovely views in all directions and very quiet.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Great campsite with friendly staff
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 My partner and I stayed here mid September and the campsite was lovely. We had lots of space for the tent as well as my German shepherd. Great walks nearby and it was lovely to watch the animals on the hill from the tent. Toilets and showers were both very clean, and always stocked with supplies. Utility and fridge/freezer.
The people running the site were all very friendly and helpful, have a few bits in the shop as well as some homegrown goodies. If you need more bits, there's a small convince store about 20min walk. Also a lovely meal and some drinks at the pub, about a 15min walk away.

Lovely campsite in a great location
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We had a great 2 night stay at this campsite. The location was perfect for walking Snowdon and paddle boarding in the area. The pitches are well spread and the facilities were really well looked after. The reception is well stocked and there is information boards for nearby walks etc. We would highly recommend staying here!
Lovely staff and a beautiful site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 The staff were really friendly and gave us a tour of the facilities when we arrived. They also make their own honey and sell eggs from their chickens and ducks and they got us some fresh duck eggs to buy on our last day.
The ground of the campsite was a bit rocky in places so it was hard to get a few of the tent pegs in, but we managed.
It was a beautiful location with a great view of Mount Snowdon and other mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hosts (even though we were asked to be quiet! Sorry 🤫).
Lovely little pub a 15 minute walk from the site. Gorgeous mushrooms, and advice on how to cook them. Breathtaking views of the mountains.
Even let us store the van once packed away, so we could enjoy last day on the beach.
Perfect stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Would absolutely come here again. The facilities were amazing, hot showers, toilets and utility room open 24/7.
The hosts were so lovely and helpful, can't thank them enough. The only issue I have is that someone decided to move my electrical cable from my assigned station and attach it to somewhere else (not the site's fault, but poor etiquette from fellow campers!) However, doesn't deter from this incredible site.
The views were absolutely breathtaking!! And we could hire a fire pit (we did, thank you) as well as buy fresh farm produce. We bought some honey made on the farm. It's an incredible offering and one we cannot wait to come back to.
Next time though we will be staying for a few nights to make the most of what is on offer. Thank you 😊

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Aug 2023 Really enjoyed myself, the location is outstanding and the site is very clean. Staff really helpful. I will be coming back again and would recommend this site to others.
Beautiful spot
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Highly recommend, good facilities, welcoming owners and staff, beautiful setting with good sized pitches. All in all, even with the wet weather, we had a lovely break here and I’d happily return.

Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 After a severely damaged tent on our first night due to a storm, Helen, Len and the campsite team went above and beyond to help us and find alternative accommodation, basically saving our summer holiday! We were so grateful and found everyone very friendly and helpful the whole time. Such a lovely location too with great walks nearby and excellent facilities.

Base for exploring Snowdonia
Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2023 The campsite had amazing views, the owner was very welcoming on arrival.
We had booked a pitch well in advance for a motorhome and the first choice of pitch we were offered wasn't ideal as right by the toilets and on a slope, so the owner gave us a much better pitch which was flat and room to sit out with table/chairs. We could only stop on that pitch for one night though as booked out for our second night so had to move onto another pitch the next day.
It was a very busy site for its size so sometimes had to wait to use toilets/showers but it was August.
The facilities for the kids were great and they loved the donkeys and made friends whilst at the play park. There were also lots of walks to do from the site so for hikers a great base but also to take a family walk on a nice day or an evening stroll, it was ideal.
Well worth a visit
Camping Pod - Hebog Camping Pod (Dog Friendly) Aug 2023 Lovely campsite in a beautiful location. Great for kids with a play area and donkeys to feed. The campsite was very clean with friendly staff and there's lots to do in the local area. I would definitely recommend it and I will be going back to visit!
Great place
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Beautiful setting looking at the mountains and really friendly people in charge, who always seemed happy to help.
We pitched a large tent with electric and had space to park next to it and did not feel too close to our neighbours. The shower and toilets are split between 2 blocks so some are always open (even when cleaned) and really well maintained. Showers were always hot and we only had to wait a couple of times (but no queues as the site is not huge). Kids liked the playground and donkeys.
Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
Annual family camp
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Every year my family and I get together on an annual camp trip, this year it was my turn to choose the site and I'm glad I choose here.
Despite the torrential downpours, we had a great time. The staff were all lovely.
We are already talking of booking again for next year, with hopefully better weather! 🙏
Long weekend
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 The site was very clean and well kept and the facilities were kept in a very clean state at all times. During our visit, it was very wet and windy but the site handled the weather very well.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A really wonderful campsite. Great check in and welcoming service. The little on-site shop has some local delicacies to buy. It's a lovely sized site in a beautiful setting, especially with the park and animals.

Lovely setting Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 This is a nice campsite set amongst the Snowdonia hills. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The washing facilities are ok. The kids enjoyed the large play park.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 A lovely, quiet family park. Little quirks such as visiting sheep from nearby fields and farmer getting them back to safety with his sheep dogs added to the fun. We will return.
Excellent campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Brilliant campsite set in beautiful surroundings. Feels remote but you're not far from lots of great places and activities.
The stay started so well, with the owners giving a tour of the site and facilities rather than the typical - stick your tent anywhere in that field over there :)
Lovely well-maintained site with lots of good facilities - clean and good showers, utility room with camper fridges and freezers available, playground, and a limited but good shop.
Would definitely recommend.
