Why choose Llandyfan Camping

Family friendly site with scenic countryside views with a one acre fishing lake too

Dog friendly and ideal for walkers and anglers with a footpath leading straight from the site

Peaceful camping and glamping on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog)

About the site

Nestled on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this site is a peaceful spot, surrounded by nature, there is even an onsite fishing lake for any keen fishermen. Offering camping, touring and glamping as well as pet-friendly options, there is something for everyone! There are grass pitches available for tents and campervans as well as hardstanding pitches available for campervans and tourers (including one with an electric hook up). For those who want to experience a night in the outdoors but want to pack light, the unfurnished glamping units is a great option where you can leave the tent at home and just bring the camping equipment! There are three pods and one log cabin. Two of the pods sleep up to two people, one of these is pet-free, and one pod sleeps up to four. The two-person pods feature one double bed and the four person pod features a double bed and two single beds. The log cabin sleeps up to four with a double bed and two singles. Bedding is not included in any of the glamping units, so please bring your own. Remember to pack all the camping equipment, minus the tent! However, the cabin does have cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs and other kitchen bits available to use in the cupboards. Anglers can enjoy the one acre fishing lake that is open to camping residents and visitors (it is advised to book ahead). A six-foot-deep lake that has been stocked with common carp, mirror carp, tench, perch, roach and rudd- the record weight is 16lbs! Or, head further into the Brecon Beacons National Park for some spectacular views, whether you're hiking up one of the mountains or finding hidden waterfalls there is something for every outdoor enthusiast! The owners also have chickens that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to the guests! Fresh eggs are also often available to purchase (simply ask on arrival). Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead, there is even a footpath that leads straight from the site onto the beacons for walks, but please be aware that there are roaming sheep so dogs still need to be kept on a lead. Only the site's fire pits are to be used, just pop them on the slab provided to keep the grass safe. Raised BBQs are also allowed. The campsite's insurance asks that they be at least 50cm off the ground and at least 5m away from any tents or structures. Disposable BBQs are permitted, just use appropriate stands and don't place them directly on the grass or benches. If you do not have a stand, please request bricks and a slab from the site to put your disposable BBQ onto. The site also asks if you can take a moment to read the fire safety rules posted outside the toilet and shower block.

Llandyfan Camping is open from 01/03 to 30/10. Pitches from £12/night for 2 people.

Litter:

You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or we have a recycling point where you can recycle it in the appropriate bins. We are trying to reduce our black bag/general waste and your help by recycling is hugely appreciated.

Only our firepits to be used and these must be put onto the slab provided to protect the grass.
