About the site

This family friendly park is set in the heart of Northumberland, just a 20 minute walk from Hadrian's Wall. Surrounded by open countryside, it's a great base for exploring the area, with walking routes leading straight towards the famous Roman landmark and beyond. There are grass 6m x 4m pitches with 10 amp electric hook ups, or hardstanding 9m x 9m touring pitches with 16 amp hook ups. For extra convenience, choose a fully serviced hardstanding 9m x 9m pitch that includes electric, water and waste connection, ideal for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. For those looking to go glamping, there's a great range of pods. The large glamping pods sleep up to five, equipped with a double bed and bench seating that converts to a single and double. You can then either hire bedding or bring it with you. The large pods also include an electric heater, plus a small fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing up sink. You will also have an ensuite toilet and hand basin, with shared showers nearby. Outside is a picnic table, with seven of the pods also coming with an electric hot tub. For adults only, there are luxury Castle glamping pods. Sleeping up to two, these pods come with a double bed with bedding. A fully equipped kitchen includes a coffee machine, hob, kettle, microwave and toaster, plus all your cutlery and crockery. You will even have a wood burning stove, a smart TV and a lounge area with a large sofa. Outside, you will find a private patio with a hot tub and BBQ, perfect for unwinding under the stars. The site has plenty to keep everyone entertained. There's a well-equipped campers' kitchen with a vending machine, a licensed shop selling essentials and local treats, and even homemade pizzas on Fridays in high season. Guests can hire the BBQ hut for group meals, relax in the sauna, and younger visitors will love the play park and the small petting zoo! Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch and pet friendly pod, with handy extras like a warm dog wash to keep muddy paws clean after a day exploring. In the evening, you can light the fire pit or cook over the BBQ, as long as both are raised from the ground. There is also a pub a ten minute walk down the road if you would rather dine out. The site also offers a range of simple camping pods with sleeping platforms and a larger holiday lodge.
