About the site


Set across 2.5 acres, this peaceful campsite sits on the edge of the North Pennines National Landscape, just 35 minutes from Northumberland National Park. It's an ideal base for families, hikers, nature lovers, and anyone keen to explore moorland trails and soak up countryside views. You may even spot a few friendly animals around the site! Choose from non electric grass pitches (5.5m x 8m) for tents, and non electric grass and hardstanding pitches for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and trailer tents. Electric grass and gravel hardstanding pitches (8m x 8m) are available for roof tents, campervans, and trailer tents, while electric grass and hardstanding pitches (6m x 9.5m) with grass sections are suitable for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and trailer tents. All electric pitches come with a 13 amp hook up. Enjoy a home-cooked meal at The Manor House Inn, a minutes walk away. For a change of pace, head out to Durham or Newcastle, both a 30 minute drive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with up to four dogs allowed per pitch. Both BBQs and campfires are permitted on site, just please ensure they are raised from the ground.

The site is open all year, non electric grass pitches are open until 31st October. Pitches from £19/night for 2 people.
