We spent 2 nights in this place. The pitches are very large and beautifully laid out between trees. The sanitary facilities are spacious and the shower temperature can be regulated. We were greeted very warmly and the owners were very helpful. (Translated from German)
Site's response
We do have a lot of mature (and some maturing trees) that break up the site, help provide privacy , shade and a sanctuary for birds and wildlife. Our shower facilities do surprise and impress some of our guests. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, it is much appreciated.

Excellent, clean, tidy site and very peaceful, relaxing stay.
Site's response
Thank you for your recommendation, it is much appreciated. Whilst we are a quiet adults only rural site, we are not too far from things to do, see or walk or cycle to. It is nice to relax and unwind when away- just sit and chat, watch the world go by and listen to the birdsong - something we don't often get the opportunity to in the cities or even find time to do when at home - there is always something that needs doing or someone who wants attention. Thank you again.
Lovely campsite!

Absolutely loved our stay here, there were 4 of us, staying in two tents with a dog. Our dog is dog reactive and once they'd put us on a pitch, they then went out of the their way to change it for us as we were two close to neighbouring dogs. We were really glad that dog owners were also encouraged to keep dogs on leads. This was a really positive thing for us! We were in a quiet little corner of the site all on our on it was absolute bliss! The toilet block modern and clean, they also have had a really organised recycling station with crates to be able to split recycling down!
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would thank you for leaving us such a nice review. We allow dogs on our touring pitches and in 2/3 of our glamping pods providing they are kept on a lead at all times as not all guests like dogs (some are allergic to them) and not all dogs like other dogs. We do try to give guests a choice of pitch but this is not always possible at busy times. If guests have a preference or a nervous dog it is always great to know in advance so that we take this into account. We do encourage guests to recycle their glass, tins, plastics, paper, cardboard and food waste and as stated provide crates that can be taken to the pitches to facilitate this. Thank you again for your review it is much appreciated.

This was our first stay here and we were very impressed. The site is beautifully maintained and very clean. Jane and Brian were the most wonderful hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had an issue with our van which Brian tried to help with but unfortunately couldn't. He did however recommend somewhere locally we could take it. The views and surrounding area were fantastic. Will definitely be going back.
Site's response
Thank you for leaving such a glowing review - we do appreciate it. We have a mix of maintained areas and natural areas with slightly longer grasses (wildlife corridors) and wild flowers to encourage / support bees and small wild life. We are always available to chat to our guests about the local area has to offer and any issues they may be experiencing / or items they have forgotten. If we cannot help ourselves, we generally know someone who they can talk to or where they can go. We hope to see you again in the future. .

Beautiful site in a perfect location for us. Jane made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and took time to talk to us when we saw her. The site is very well kept, lovely spacious pitches and good facilities. We were lucky to be offered a great secluded pitch as we were non electric and it felt so private and was perfect for us with our dogs as they could roam around in what was like our own little garden. It is not easy to find sites where we can take all 3 of our dogs but they were so welcome here, it was lovely. We opted to hire a chiminea and logs from the site and this was a fab addition to our stay. The weather was spot on which of course always helps. We walked into Craven Arms during our stay which was wonderful but not an easy walk over the hills and we ached on return - but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did the pups, more so as we found a cracking little pub called The Stables where we rested, ate and drank for a good while! All in all a fab few days away! Thank you!
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do try to give guests a choice of pitch on arrival, although occasionally this is not possible, so that they can take advantage of the views, sun or shade as appropriate to their individual unit. The site is broken up by trees and wildlife corridors (areas left natural/ not mown) and the pitches quite a generous size, so guests have space and flexibility when pitching up. The walk to Craven Arms takes about an hour direct from site - using quiet country lanes and public footpaths through fields. We are located in the rolling Corvedale Hills, so some people may find this a challenge. Craven Arms has a large independent supermarket, various eateries and shops. There are miles of walking and cycling available including those from The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. We do keep a small supply of chimeneas to lend out to the touring pitches. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review - it is much appreciated.

Couldn't ask for a better stay. Having visited twice, we've had amazing service, high level of cleanliness in the facilities and beautiful pitches both times. Would highly recommend this site for anyone looking for a calm and peaceful retreat.
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your return visit. Each pitch offers a slightly different view of the rolling Corvedale Hills. Being an adults only site calm, peace and quiet are something that is abundant and guests can really appreciate and enjoy. Whilst we are a rural site we are not too far from some of Shropshire's gems like the historic market town of Ludlow and spectacular scenery and miles of walking and cycling offered by Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. Thank you for your kind words about the level of service and cleanliness in particular - they are much appreciated.

Owners were very helpful and friendly. Site was very rural but in a picturesque setting, with hills and fields all around. Note that the site slopes, although I found a level pitch for my campervan against the far hedge, great spot. It was not busy when I was there, so very peaceful and relaxing. Great for walking although hills are steep! Good field behind the site where the footpath goes, all enclosed and no livestock so I could let my dog off lead. Did a lovely 2.5mile circular walk. Village is 1.8 miles away, so had to drive there as the walk across the country was too steep and long for me and owners, quite rightly, advised against walking along the road as the traffic was heavy and very fast. All showers and toilets were individual and very clean. Great recycling area, with trays and containers to sort your own recycling. A mini-shop for basics would be helpful, as would a stronger/effective WiFi signal in the evenings (I could only get it during the day).
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are a rural site set in the rolling Corvedale Hills and therefore our site is always acknowledged as being gently sloping, however due to our generous pitch sizes guests can position their unit to take this into account and make of the most of the views from their pitch. The hills do provide miles of walking or cycling and can be steep in places (although degree of gradient has different interpretations to different guests). Craven Arms is 1.8 miles away by car along the B4368 (not a road to walk along) which has a 60 mile an hour speed limit in places, some twists with no footpaths or street lights. Using the public footpaths and quiet country lanes, it takes 50 -60 minutes to walk to Craven Arms. One of the reasons we do not have a shop on site as there are too many different types/ choices for even simple food basics like bread and milk to be able to meet the requirements of guests. Also as demand for these items is unpredictable and we would end up having to to freeze unsold items. The majority of guests would prefer to pop into town than have than frozen. Craven Arms does a large independent supermarket with a good / wide range of food and drink. Unfortunately we are not able to access fibre optic broadband and have wireless broad band (which is transmitted via a series of masts). There were issues with the provision of broadband in this area during your stay but believe these have today been sorted out. We would point out that we do provide free broadband to our guests even though we have to pay for it on a monthly basis whether it is used or not. Thank you for your kind comments re our toilet/ shower and recycling facilities - they are much appreciated.. .

Small, pleasant and conveniently located site. Plenty of great communication prior to arriving and once there. Great location in the Shropshire hills near walking spots and good pubs. Adults only site so nice and quiet, and the facilities were frightfully clean - absolutely spotless. We were on non-power hookup so can't comment on those items.
Site's response
Being an adults only site, we do tend to find that guests leave the bathrooms as they find them (hopefully spotlessly clean). A lot of time and effort goes into maintaining high standards so that guests can relax and enjoy their break. We want our guests to enjoy / explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills and their hidden gems so try to provide guests with some basic information on the area prior to arrival or on arrival as required. We are an ideal base for relaxing, sight seeing, walking, cycling or just mooching round the many quaint market towns. Thank you for leaving a review it is much appreciated.

Beautiful site, greeted by the lovely welcoming owner who showed us round, beautifully tended to pitches in a lovely area. Modern and clean toilet and shower block facilities, we had a lovely night stay here and will definitely come back for further stays in the future.
Site's response
The rolling Corvedale Hills provide a gorgeous "living" backdrop to the site. The site itself has many mature trees and hedges that provide shade, privacy and homes to a variety of wildlife and birds. Whilst we are a rural site, we are less than 2 miles from Craven Arms and are midway between the market towns of Ludlow and Church Stretton. There is plenty to see, do, discover and explore in the area. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and are already thinking of a return visit. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, it is much appreciated.

If you want a spotless, adult only, well run site then this is the one for you. Brian was very helpful, even helped us fix our caravan's foot which somehow broke. The location is near to lots of places to visit. Will definitely be going back.
Site's response
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and are looking to return. There is a lot to do in the area miles of walking, cycling and site seeing. River boat or steam train trips and plenty of small market towns like Ludlow, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Church Stretton to discover/explore. There are several castles, English Heritage and National Trust properties in the area too. And of course wonderful places to eat and drink. We do like to help guests if they encounter a problem and if we can't help them solve generally know someone who can. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review it is much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
