About the site

Located in scenic countryside, seven minutes from the coast, this family friendly site is great for a rural getaway. You will be within five minutes of popular beaches like Slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands, with Dartmouth 30 minutes away too. The site offers a range of non electric tent pitches, each individually named and mown into the grass of a meadow. Sizes vary from 10m x 8m up to 19m x 10m, all allowing up to six guests. Pitches are car free, with parking within a 5m - 60m walk and wheelbarrows supplied for transporting your things. All of the pitches include your own private fire pit, with logs available to purchase onsite! For campervans, there is Sycamore grass pitch, which is 10m x 8m, or Laurel pitch, which features both gravel and grass, measuring 14m x 17m. If glamping is more your style, there are bell tents, a glamping cabin, a dome and a shepherd's hut. Bumblebee bell tent is 20m from the parking area and Butterfly is 5m from the parking area. Both have with a king size bed and twin bed memory foam mattress tucked underneath and there is space for an extra bed to be brought along with you. They are also equipped with chairs, rugs, lighting and bunting. Bedding is not provided, but can be hired from the site. Outside is a picnic table and a cooking hut with a gas hob, cool box and fire pit. The Log Cabin is set in its own private garden, sleeping up to four with a double bed and bunk beds. There is a living/dining area with a TV and an equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, toaster, kettle and combination microwave. Outside is a seating area, fire pit and BBQ. The cabin has a private bathroom, a 25m walk away with towels provided. The Dome is a great luxury option if you want to lie back and admire the views. Sleeping up to five, the 8m dome is spacious, has a double bed, bunk beds, a floor mattress and bedding, just be sure to bring towels. There is an indoor seating area and wood burner. Just next to the dome is a separate kitchen and bathroom with a large shower. The well equipped kitchen has all you need for a longer stay with a kettle, toaster, induction hob, sink, fridge and combination microwave. Outside is also a BBQ fire pit, table and chairs for relaxing outside. The Dingle Dell shepherd's hut is the most luxurious option with your own wood-fired hot tub and ensuite bathroom with towels. It includes a king size bed and bunk beds, electric radiator, a TV, wood burner and a sofa. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, fridge, sink, hob and microwave/oven. Outside is also a fire pit, table and chairs. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch or glamping unit. Please note, guests will be asked to bring along their own dog cages to use in the bell tent glamping accommodation. Certified with the Greener Camping Club, at least one member of each party must be a member unless booking the log glamping cabin. This costs £12 a year and can be added to your booking at checkout.

Pitches are available from the end of March until October, bell tents are available from the end of May until 9th September, other glamping is available all year. Stay from £26/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

A note from the site themselves...

Welcome to our small farm — a place shaped by love, hard work, and a deep respect for the land. The farm has been in our family for generations, and we've poured our hearts into it and developing our small campsite. We spent a year hand-building our shepherd's hut and lovingly restored the facilities block, creating a spaces that are both comfortable and full of character.

We care deeply about encouraging nature and biodiversity, so we've left open meadow grass areas, planted trees, and created habitats where wildlife can thrive. Tawny owls, small birds, and a variety of creatures now call this place home — and sharing that with guests is one of our greatest joys.

We love welcoming guests here, and hope it offers a true chance to relax, recharge, and reconnect — with nature, with loved ones, or simply with a slower pace of life.
