A note from the site themselves...

We purchased this site because it has three coarse lakes that were dug in the 1930's making them beautifully mature, naturally stunning, quiet and peaceful. With the Muntjac's calling, birds singing, you really feel close to nature.

Our aim was to own a touring site that offers tranquillity, value for money and fantastic fishing. We pride ourselves on that we run the site where customer satisfaction is a priority rather than a money-making exercise.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesJun 2025

Where do I start. Everything about Oasis Lakes is just lovely. Myself and my wife booked 2 nights for a short break and to assess the lakes with a view to fishing there in the future. Firstly, the owners of the site could not have been more helpful. We were greeted by Carl and Jo who showed us to our pitch, hard standing with dedicated electric hook up with good ampage and fresh water tap. The surroundings are beautiful, with the scent of honeysuckle in the air.. The only sound you can hear are the huge variety of songbirds in the woods around the site. There are also Monkjack deer in the woods. The owners have done a lot of work planting new trees and flowers which add to the already stunning scenery around the site. The site itself is kept clean and tidy. The shower block is immaculately clean, modern, private, and the individual shower rooms have WCs, sinks, driers, and of course the showers, which are large and incorporate a rain type shower head but also a standard adjustable head, again all spotlessly clean. Everything is new and of a very high standard. There is a dedicated waste disposal area which has waste bins, waste disposal etc, all well kept and regularly cleaned. The tackle shop has a good range of baits etc for sale, and the owners are more than ready to offer advice for popular baits. There is a cold drinks cooler that has a large variety of cold cans, and a freezer unit containing various ice creams. You simply take what you need and pop the money into the honesty box. This is accessible at all times. The lakes themselves are beautiful, surrounded by natural features, such as lily pads and lakeside bushes, and with fishing platforms, many newly replaced, to make fishing there extremely comfortable. Access to many of the pegs are very much disabled friendly, and you can park right behind some of the pegs. All pegs are easily accessible. Two of the lakes are for general fishing, containing a very good head of Carp, Crucian Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Ide, Chub etc. The third lake is a Carp lake, which I was told by anglers present contained Carp up to 50lb. It is a stunning lake and the dedicated pegs are large enough to take a full carp setup with room to spare. In summary this is a peaceful haven, somewhere to relax, unwind, and take time out. Being an adult only site enhances the aura of tranquillity which we both felt during our stay. There is also an aviary which is home to a variety of beautiful birds. This really is a special place to visit and we cannot wait to go back there very soon. Ivan and Claire.

So glad we found this beautiful, quiet little site.

Beautiful little site run by a lovely couple who really do make you feel welcome. Such a quiet pretty little site, listening to birds singing away, the sun shining, lovely views of the lakes.....perfect and just what we needed. Each pitch has its own EHU hookup pay as u go meter and fresh water. There a little washing up area, chemical/domestic waste point and 3 beautifully kept shower rooms(best we've ever seen) Small fishing shop on site which if you like fishing its and a small fridge freezer with cold drinks and ice creams available 24/7 with a honesty box (nice touch!) We ventured up into the village, stopping at the 1st pub for a cold beer which was lovely then had a walk around the village. There are a couple shops, takeaways and Italian restaurant. Following night we had a meal at the axe and cleaver pub which was spot on, big portions, tasty and reasonably priced Overall we can't recommend Oasis Lakes and Holidays highly enough, we will be visiting again next month with our friends and already counting down the days...Yay!

Had a great 3 night stay at this lovely site. Perfect site for camping and fishing. The owners are very helpful especially Karl with my carp fishing and enabling me to catch a lovely 24lb carp. The facilities are great and the tackle shop is very well stocked. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.
