There are a range of non electric grass pitches suitable for both campervans and tents, plus a cosy furnished bell tent, perfect for a family of four. Campfires are also allowed.

About the site
If you're looking to explore the beauty of Shropshire, this ten acre site is a fantastic base for your next outdoor adventure. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Shropshire Hills right from your pitch and drive just ten minutes to Long Mynd where you can hike up the mountain peak. The site has a range of grass pitches without electric hook up for both tents and campervans measuring 5m x 9m. There is space to park your car at your pitch and awnings, pup tents and gazebos are permitted. If you're after a little more luxury, there is also one furnished bell tent. This sleeps up to four guests and inside you will find a double bed and two single airbeds. Bedding is provided but please make sure to bring along your own towels. Inside there is a table and chairs, cooking equipment, a kettle, heating, lighting as well as a wood-burning stove and logs. Outside is a firepit and space to park your car. Please note, the bell tent is in a more secluded location and is a five minute walk from the showers. With a pub also just a five minute walk away, everything is at your fingertips from this laidback site. If you're hoping to have dinner al fresco, campfires are permitted. BBQs are also permitted please just make sure they are raised off the ground. Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay on the grass pitches, however, dogs are not permitted in the bell tents.
Mowbray Meadow is open for weekends from 18th April to 18th May, the late May bank holiday week, weekends from June 20th to 17th August and then from 22nd August to 1st September.
